The building and interior is really cool. Feels like an old western style building. Brick, old photos, ect. Food was just ok. We had the salmon....way too much tomato sauce, the rib eye which was standard but the sweet potatoes were really good. To start we had bruschetta which was not special. Over all, the place itself was what made... More

We were staying at the hotel for 2 nights. So we ate in the restaurant one night. Although the food was expensive, it was good. The service was good. There was a surprising Italian influence. It certainly the best restaurant in the area.

Let no one say you can't have a great meal experience on a cruise excursion. Had not read the reviews in advance but now see many great comments that match our meal today. The setting, service, food, conversation, and wine were tops. And servers keep coming back to top off your choice of white or red (or both) wine. Oh,... More

Not exciting and no aspect whatsoever. Trying hard but everything just dull, including the droning music,.

Incredibly beautiful and cared for facility. Good wines and an excellent tasting and tour. We did not stay there or eat there, but those facilities looked excellent as well. If you're in Carmelo, this is one of the places you should visit.

We were scheduled to have a wine tasting/tour and lunch. Our wine tasting experience was very good. Tomas, the winemaker's assistant, guided us through the portfolio of Narbona wines. He was very knowledgeable about the Narbona's wine making philosophy and process. He also was able to discuss the current status of Uruguayan wines on the world scene. For Americans, Uruguayan... This was by far the best meal we had in Uruguay and top two when you include our stay in buenos Aires. The atmosphere is great, tannat wines are delicious and reasonably priced and the food is outstanding. I had the ojo de bife with grilled sweet potatoes and am Still thinking about that meal! And he had the pasta... More

It might have been that I had high expectations, but the food is average to mediocre when considered alone. If you take the price into account then it turns just plain lame. Charging 22$ for a dry pasta spaghetti in tomato sauce could be acceptable if part of a bigger experience, but that was not the case. Yes, the place... More

Came with friends, good Italian food and great wine in a tranquil and soulful setting. Reasonable value. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, we took a few bottles of wine for the road.
