We really enjoyed our meals for lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Menu is great with variety of options, nice atmosphere, riverside location. Staffs were kind, went out their way to make sure our family feel comfortable having meals.

What a fun afternoon. We made the most delicious food and were entertained and encouraged all the way. Can't wait to try out some new flavours at home!! If you want to learn to cook Vietnamese food go and experience Gioan.

We had an amazing dinner tonight cooked by Vena. The banana flower salad was especially outstanding. Shrimp pancake was also amazing, as was the fish in banana lead and aubergine in clay pot. You must visit!

There are lots of choices of restaurant along the river, finally we stumbled into this place. We ordered a simple but delicious lunch which was good presented and tasty. This was a welcoming ambiance.

We did a group cooking class with Han as part of our Intrepid tour, absolutely amazing! Han has brilliant English and a wicked sense of humour. Her teaching and recipes are to die for and we'll definitely be adding them to our menu at home. Cannot recommend enough.

My friend and me had a dinner there. In parallel, a food cooking lesson was ongoing, but we only had dinner - too lazy too cook ourselves :). Truly the service was extraordinary, fast and very kind. On top of that, the food was all made fresh in front of us (our most liked one: the spring rolls). Taste was... More

We went there for the two-hour and 3 dishes cooking class with Han. It was a great experience, we had a lot of fun as we learned how to cook Cao Lau, Pho Bo and Chicken Curry. We then ate it and it was delicious. Han is a very nice teacher, giving lots of tips. I would definitely go there... More

Staffs are attentive, food is prepared quickly, amazing quality and taste. They also have cooking class, we regret not to join in as we had no time. We definitely come back

One of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam was my cooking class at Gioan. I learned how to cook 4 dishes: pho, "5 spice pork," fish grilled in banana leaves and "country pancakes." The food was delicious and the tips were very helpful. The instructions I can home with will hopefully one day lead to some great dishes. Vina,... More
