We have been travelling around Vietnam for over a week now and tried lots of food. We were delighted to eat the crispy pork noodles, pork and shrimp caramel pot and chicken wings which all tasted different to what we have tried elsewhere. The food was delicious, the lady serving us was really friendly and made us laugh, the place itself was quiet and cosy outside of the busy town centre. Perfect for our first night in Hoi An after travelling a lot as it was not far from our hotel. The cocktails were great value for money, I had a pina colada and it was really tasty. Definitely recommend.

The internet sent me here because some other place was closed and this was close by and highly rated. The internet did good. It was packed when I arrived and it quickly became apparent that it was woefully understaffed. In fact, there was only one waitress catering for what looked like between 30 and 35 diners. I secreted myself into a corner when a table fortuitously became available and I went to find my own menu. I watched for a while. I was in no hurry. The waitress rushed around like a dynamo, seemingly undaunted by the enormity of her task. There was no way she could get to everyone as quickly as they’d like but she did her best, making a competent fist of a crappy hand with smiles and mimes and good-hearted interaction. No one was angry, not even the hungry. I opened my own wine. And when the food came, it was delicious. By 9, the place had quietened down a little and I got the chance to chat to the waitress. Ordinarily, she told me, she would not be alone, but for some reason tonight lots of other restaurants were closed and also, insult to injury, some of her staff (for she was also the owner, it transpired) had not come into work because of fear of the Coronavirus. Bloody Coronavirus. So: review. Really great food and excellent (Dalat) wine and wonderful staff. Vicky the owner-waitress is a total empath, the perfect person to run a restaurant, sitting down with customers, chatting, phoning taxis, laughing, poking fun, bending over backwards to accommodate, even pouring some homemade yoghurt over a desticked lolly to fulfil the weird dessert request of a ridiculous stoned customer. Delicious it was too. Totally recommended. I will go back for my last night in Hoi Na.

Dear Karl !!! Hello I read your review the moment I woke up, I felt so happy and full of positive energy to work. Thank you, your sympathy for that night, it was really too busy when all the regional restaurants were closed due to the disease and the staff had an urgent job and had to go home. The restaurant is currently closed due to the epidemic as we have notified until the next announcement, we are really sorry for the inconvenience, please understand. Have a nice trip and hope to see you soon before you leave Hoi An Thanks very much Restaurant Owners Vicky

We found this place on trip advisor and decided to go here based on the cheap prices. It turned out to be a great decision because the food was great! The first night we had the stir fried rice noodles with vegetables and sweet and sour pork and the second night we had rice noodles with crispy pork and a cheese burger. Both meals on both nights were so good and the portions were a better size than many other restaurants. The owner is so funny and sweet and appreciates all her customers very much. Although this place might be a bit further from the old town waterfront, it is worth the few extra minutes of walking. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

Visited this restaurant after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The first thing that hits you is Vicky the proprietor. Who is warm friendly bubbly character. She gives good advice on both food and drinks without ripping you off. For instance suggested cheaper beer for my partner which was excellent. You can see the chef cooking meals individually per person all meals cooked to order nothing prepared hanging around. All ingredients fresh and of excellent quality. Had the sweet and sour chicken, fried wanton and sautéed noodles and vegetables all absolutely delicious. Do not hesitate go so cheap and such good quality. It’s slightly more of a walk down the road but well worth the walk.

My husband and I randomly stopped in for dinner last night. We were drawn to the open front and pleasant ambience. He ate crispy pork with rice noodles which was terrific and I had crispy tofu with spicy sauce and rice noodles which was absolutely divine. We also shared a mango & shrimp salad which was excellent. But aside from the great food, we really enjoyed the perky and cheerful owner, Vicky. She was just so cute, asking us about our specific tastes in food so that the dishes could be made specifically to our liking, and joking with us over assorted things. It was such a pleasure to be there, almost like being in someone's home. We look forward to going back.

Best restaurant in Hoi An. We passed by and saw crowds having a good time and decided to come for lunch the next day. We ended up having another 3 consecutive meals here! Must try the fried wonton and spring rolls. The seafood hotpot for 2 is priced at a very low price of 10 USD and has the freshest ingredients we had in Vietnam. Coupled with Hip - the most cheerful and welcoming host who speaks excellent English, it makes for a most warm and delicious meal. Although about 10 minutes ride from the old town, it comes highly recommended to make the short trip.

First meal of 2020 and did not disappoint! Ordered the Hoi An Cao Lau, fried wontons and shrimp and pork caramel in clay pot. Vicky's service was amazing, so funny and nice and sat with us the whole time chatting. Quick food, cheap price and good local craft beers. Highly recommend for any travellers!

We had dinner at Vicky's restaurant about 4 or 5 times during our stay in Hoi An and we loved the local food and atmosphere. Also her energy and sweetness was lovely company. We strongly recommend this restaurant. It is a family restaurant owned by Vicky and we were delighted also to meet her family.

Went here as we were quite late and the other place we went to was closed. The restaurant was full but there was only one lady working... She was doing her best bless her but we waited over an hour for 2 plates of veggie noodles from when our order was taken. It took 15 minutes to get our order taken. When the food came it was slightly underwhelming. Very small portions and not the best. We’ve had better noodle dishes in Vietnam. The lady working was super friendly and apologetic about the wait.

Dear alijax!!! I have read this review in google map As I informed you and your girlfriend, the restaurant is currently quite crowded due to the fact that all the restaurants in the area have closed due to the covid disease 19, that evening, a few familly customers booked a table before so we decided to open a restaurant, that night (my employee had a family emergency reason should come back home , so I had to served customer for myself alone)and when all the restaurants in the area were closed, the restaurant was so crowded that was why I went to the each table to apologize for all the waiting and received sympathy from the guests. I know you and your girlfriend have no intention of coming to the restaurant we eat, (as you told me) Just because your destination was closed for this virus epidemic, I went to your table to inform you of the waiting time, as well as to ask you about food, but both you and your girlfriend said it was very good and we thought we served the best we could I thank you for visiting the restaurant, and sorry you and your girlfriend again for waiting for food Good health and have a good trip Vicky / restaurant owner

This is the restaurant that I think I have the best food so far in Vietnam The price is very reasonable, the space is cool, the owner of the restaurant is very enthusiastic. Her husband and wife are very kind, I have seen her help passersby with a lot of energy from her smile. The menu is quite diverse with both European and Asian dishes, I regret only staying in Hoi An for 2 days, otherwise I will come here again, look at the tables around eating different dishes, it looks very attractive and looks great. very delicious Especially recommend coming to experience

Stopped here for dinner on our last night in Hoi An and we weren't disappointed. Service was good and the waitress was friendly. We had a selection of dishes including chicken with lemongrass and chilli and sweet and sour chicken along with deep fried spring rolls. All food was very good and like other restaurants in this part of the world comes out to you from the kitchen when it's cooked not necessarily when you're ready for it!

I had a wonderful time at Tuân restaurant with good food and family atmosphere The lady owner (Hiệp ) and her daughter were really friendly , served us carefully . The most satisfied me is the menu with the variety of food. Many choice included in the menu that they served the Western food and also the Hội An specialties, you can not miss it ☺️ I was also impressed when the chef came directly to the table and thanked to us. Recommend this place to visit and have dinner or lunch in Hoi An !
