We had a great many breakfasts and dinners at The Village Library. Food was always well prepared, and the waiting staff were very efficient. The outdoor bbq provided us with variety during our stay, and my kids were able to get cereals and juices of their choice. Especially loved the soul/ jazz music playing in the background, which gave it a really cosy, ambient feel. Best part of the restaurant for us was the library. We are big readers, so it was great to access volumes and volumes of the latest mystery/ thrillers for our kids and biographies for me. Overall, a very positive experience. Only thing i would have like to have had, is an option of oat milk with my coffee :-)

I always enjoy food at The Village Library. The food is excellent,fresh and absolutely delicious. The waiters are friendly and neat. The library coupled with calm mature background music makes The Village Library a warm place where one can enjoy nice dishes and at the same time relax and savour the moment.

We had an unmatched wedding rehearsal evening dining experience at The Village Library. The meal was curated, deliciously blended with tasteful, plentiful, unique dishes and flavors. The staff was amazingly friendly. Overall, the service was impeccable! Cleanliness was spot on! The spacious semi-outdoor dining area laced with views of a well lawned garden, lit up by a soft-warm ambient lighting instantly elevated the dining experience! I fully recommend this restaurant for indoor and outdoor day and evening large format dinners!

The village library is nestled among tall pine trees, providing a serene escape from the bustling city. The delicate flowers nestled in the vibrant green garden creates a perfect picturesque scene. Loved their food, their service was impeccable an overall great experience. This gem of a place will definitely wow you with their attention to detail.👌

The Village Library provides such a peaceful environment for you to enjoy your food while you are reading. There is a wide range of books you can pick form and the amazing part is that you can bring your whole family.

I couldnt find this place. I dont think it exists. I followed thr directions and they led me to a place that could not possibly house such a place

Wow what a great place to be ,with a cozy atmosphere ,that make you feel at home .The place is clean and the staff are very helpful and welcoming ,i wont mention the food i enjoyed their traditional food that they also make even as you thought you had travelled you can be welcomed by their lovely traditional food .There service is lovely i would advise to visit this place and get the experience yourself .

A great place to be if you need time away.Beautiful place with exquisite scenery.The food is excellent and the accomodation is spacious and very comfortable.Staff is very polite.Great place to be and I would never hesitate to go back there.****

The spot has a great sitting area where you can see the chef on the braai stand .
We had the full chicken and the T-bone it was so succulent i can not wait to visit the restaurant again .They have braais every weekend you can even prebook .4

It's cosy and secluded quiet spot far from the hassle and bassle of the cbd area, gives off a relaxed vibe and to top it off the food and service is quite exceptional

Incredibly spot for the whole family to hang out. Beautiful scenario, nice and quite place to relax in their beautiful gardens having your lunch while kids play in the pool.
