Great spot for morning coffee and breakfast. Welcoming staff and good relaxing environment. The food was nice and delicious. My kids really enjoyed the chicken mayo and the hot chocolate.

Super chilled and impressive cafe. Despite it being in town, it has a really calm atmosphere. You are in town, but don’t feel like you’re in town - which is really cool. The scenery is pleasing with trees and decorations. There were solo, couples, business and families so it caters for all. The only downside was they messed up my order, including banana which I am allergic to and has asked for it not to be included. If you’re looking for a trendy/modern cafe in town, this is the place for you!

Visiting Bulawayo for a few day and asked a local to recommend somewhere for lunch. It’s in a quiet, shady street and we sat outside in their lovely, garden. Enjoyed excellent and reasonably priced Mocktails, salads and sandwiches. Service was friendly, if a bit slow, but it’s a calm and pleasant place to relax if you aren’t in a hurry.

I was with a group of 5 and we ate breakfast and lunch there each day for a week, and every day the food and coffee was great. You must make sure you visit Middys. It will be the highlight of your visit to the area.

Food was good, however every time I've dined there most of their drinks were off the menu. Their hot drinks are hardly available.

Best coffee house ever!! There were 14 of us that stopped by on our recent travels through Zimbabwe. Each of our beverages were prepared with great detail and delightfully enjoyed in their outdoor garden setting! I ordered an iced coffee - it came with ice cream on top ~ delicious! Highly recommend Middy’s! She and her staff were courteous and attentive.

Middy's Coffee Shop is your home away from home. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, if you’re local or international they will make you feel welcomed as if you’re part of the family. The food is exquisite and their unique drinks may be the highlight of your trip. If you’re looking for 5 star location in all of Zimbabwe come to Middy’s.
PS. They have delicious vegetarian options.

This place is ideal for either a business lunch or family and friends. Service is awesome, the best in town. Great food and check out the carrot cake and SloJos on that scorching day! Love it!!

Both breakfast and lunch at Middy's were excellent. Impressive variety on the menu and the quality of the coffee is top notch. Most importantly, the hospitality here is above and beyond. I mentioned to Allyson that I needed to get to Vic Falls that day and she asked around town until she found me a bus in the afternoon. In the meantime, she showed me Bulawayo and gave really wonderful advice for things to do across Zimbabwe. If you're in town, you must visit.

Middy’s became a “home away from home” for myself & a few friends whilst in Bulawayo on business.
It has wonderful, friendly staff led by Allyson who was also a great help in guiding us towards places to see in the area.
Terrific coffee & food in a relaxed setting.
