Visited with my family on recommendation from my nephew who lives in Bulawayo. Arrived just after 8am and they weren’t quite ready, but we were welcomed and seated without any fuss. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast, the lovely owner, who’s name we have sadly forgot...made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding, full and well presented. I love coming here. I choose to have many of my business meetings here in the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with the best coffee in town, made exactly as I like it. The food is great, whether cake, muffin, breakfast or lunch. They've just added...a draw for business lunch people on Mondays so I'll be sure to participate. A great venue for parties too.More

It was our fist visit and unfortunately the first disappointment came at the gate when we arrived at 1pm as booked! Only to hear the guard outside that it was ... closed! Not so promising a start! Next the service was not so welcoming either...to say the least! Refer to basic here, Waiters 101: a smile is not forbidden! As for placing and taking items on and off the table without a word let alone a smile is not best either... Then came the food. Well perhaps we ordered the wrong food, but chicken tandoori did not seem to fit the bill, looked and tasted more like spicy sauce chicken... As for the cost it seemed in line with similar local outfits perhaps slightly more, with full meal around 25-30 USD? So we cannot hide our overall disappointment, perhaps we should try again? Deja vu? Non,pas vraiment vu cette fois!More
Our sincere apologies that we did not give you our normally excellent service. We were short staffed and brought in a temporary waitress which we should have told you. We just hope you will come again where we will make sure you get good service...More
the meal was served in good time and preferences were noted. they also have a varityof wines. it is located in a quiet surburb, so it is good for alone time and reading

I’ve been in Bulawayo travelling from Australia for the last week and have been into Deja Vu most days. Great breakfast and lunch menu. Super friendly staff and happy to help out with our requests. Both my partner and I rated the liver as the...best liver dish we have ever had!! Would definately recommend the cafe for locals or foreigners.More

If looking for decent food with healthyportions this is great in Byo. All the brekky options are superb and topped off with giant capucino you just can't go wrong. Excellent for small kids too as there is a nice playground close by.
