on Thursday June 15th I arrived at this establishment in Amherst, NY at 6pm with a group of 39 out of town tourist from Chicago for a pre-paid dinner. We had to select our menu choice (roast beef, chicken, parmesan crusted haddock)a day before arrival,...I chose hollock. Due to a mix up. Some one got my haddock and the only choice left was roast beef of which I detest and refused twice. I saw one of the waitress speaking with the group leader and assumed it was taken care of when she immediately came to me. She was sweet and soft spoken and put me at ease. She asked what I wanted to order (Twisted Pork chop) and went to put the order in .At this point I am the last one to eat and was just going to take it to go. She brought my food and placed it in front of me . I took one bite, then she placed a bill for $30.on the table. I stated that I was not paying for a pre-paid meal. While I had my eating utensils in the air, she turned into an extremelly Rude fire breathing Waitzilla and snatched my plate off the table snarling that I can't have it. When I stated my case. She barks that I can have a standing coupon. B'"*#h, I live in Chicago. What good would that do me ? The choice was pecan crusted haddock, of which "no one" ate, because it was horrid and cold. My group leader had to purchase fried haddock (which they vehemently denied having anymore of)out of her pocket because of her rude, and dare I say ghetto attitude and service. The salad had no choice of dressing and we had to pay out of pocket if we wanted a different one. I never want to see a Grapevine Restaurant again. Worst Service Ever!!!.More

Ordered two take out fish fries tonight. Cost over $40 and food was terrible and tiny in quantity. My fish was very over cooked and dry. My husband’s fish was ok. The salad was in the smallest plastic container you could buy with dressing container...in as well. When poured into small cereal bowl, wasn’t even 1/3 full. Tarter sauce also not enough. Bread and fries were good but not good enough to make up for bad meal that left us hungry. We used to order fish fries every week but food quality has gone down hill. Do not recommendMore

Thanksgiving take-out dinner: A few years ago, I ordered this during Covid times and it was quite excellent. This time, not so much. Dinner was missing its cranberry, the mashed potatoes were about about the size of your palm, and the salad was laughably small...(with Greek dressing?!?) I made reservation three days ago at 2545 Niagara Falls location to celebrate my partner’s birthday. I requested to be seated at Garden Side if the facility. They did not waste any time to have me to confirm the reservation. Tonight when we walked in,...they then informed me that that Garden side is NOT available. Why didn’t they warned me beforehand? The food was only so so, I would not go back there EVER, neither will I advise any of my family members and friends to go there.More

We wanted a quick dinner so we ordered on line. I had turkey dinner, my wife had the lobster Mac and cheese. We were supposed to get a text when our order was ready. I waited at home but no text. After the appointed time...still no text. So I went anyhow and the two dinners were ready. But I got them 20 minutes later. The hostess was apologetic but we were 20 minutes late for our event. The receipt said we would get a text but not really. The food was adequate I guess, a smallish portion for me but I am the large version. Portion size was ok for my wife. The turkey meat was good in any event but seemed like instant potatoes. All in all we are not impressed with this grab and go experienceMore

We had an out of town guest who medically needed to ensure she only eat gluten free foods. Many restaurants claim but often fall short of their desire to offer a gluten free experience. Not the Grapevine! They not only have an extensive menu with...many entrees for all diners, they have gone above and beyond to create an outstanding dining experience for those gluten free. Well done! Of course, all our meals were first rate and the service second to none - give them a try - you will be impressed.More

We just visited this past Saturday night celebrating my husbands birthday and our anniversary. The food was delicious: French onion soup, beef medallions, lobster tails. The chocolate dessert and turtle cheesecake was delicious as well. Our waitress and all staff we had contact with were...wonderful to us and our 3 year old grandson who wanted to talk to them all. Would return when in Amherst again.More

We always get gift cards for this place and I am so glad. I love everything on the menu. Wine is perfect as well. Staff is really amazing.

Daughter had the crab cakes, delicious! David had BBQ Mac n cheese, delicious! I had the lobster Mac and cheese, oh it was good! Son had chicken fingers, same. Great Mango lemonade!

Stopped by and picked up six assorted meals to go. We tried the chicken crusted Parmesan, turkey and breaded pork chop for lunch and they were amazing. Extremely pleased with the quality, quantity and freshness. Pleasantly surprised that everything including the mashed potatoes were home...made and well prepared. Very confident and inexpensive meals choices. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning for more.More

We returned for dinner after a two year absence with our Buffalo News coupon in hand. I had the Twisted Pork Chop meal and the chop, potatoes and stuffing were very good. A large portion was served and I took my leftovers home for another...meal. My wife had the Twisted Cordon Bleu and she raved about it. The hot bread served was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We both opted for dessert and the chocolate peanut butter pie and Cannoli donut explosion were to die for!More
