Chris and his partner were very accommodating for our group this morning before a big ride in the local hills. While breakfast is a simple affair it’s fresh and delicious. Great coffee too. A great start to the day!More

When in Matsumoto you should have your breakfast in The Storyhouse Cafe. Nice place with very good coffee! The granola with yoghurt and fruit was amazing. Not expensive at all! The owner was very friendly and helpful.

This place serves the best homemade bagels I’ve ever tasted, for a good, fair price. The other foods also look delicious and the coffee is top notch. The staff are all so friendly as well and make you really feel at home while you’re there....More

Thank you for the kind review! Yes, all the food is made in-house. Bagels, quiche, cookies, scones, and sometimes other sweets, all made each morning. We hope you will come back to Japan some day and visit Matsumoto again!

Absolutely perfect stop with kids. We have 6 yr old twins and a 17 month old and they were well entertained so that the adults could enjoy the wonderful bagels. I️ recommend this place for all. Thanks
