Amazingly huge place by Japanese standards. A kind of English pub with a Japanese theme ie fairy light and smoking allowed. I was suffering a bit of claustrophobia in Japan at this stage due to so many very small, uncomfortable places so it was enjoyable to come in here early for happy hour when it was quite to drink beer... The Barge Inn is a pub away from home, but still very much as at home. Decorations are typical and there are a lot of things going on during weekends and holidays. The food served is mainly British but with a Japanese twist, making it a bit more exotic.

Fantastic bar tender and European ambiance in the middle of historic Narita. Pool tables, food and not crowded during the week.

After 3 weeks in Japan, its great to call in and and have a nice pint, chat and some nice food. A very warm welcome as always and was great to see the guys again. The place is now fully open and I am glad I got there after the CRAZY Halloween party. Thanks again all. See you in March.

I found this place a good few years ago and it has now become a ritual treat for me on my last night in Japan. I visit once or twice year and stay in quite rural parts of Japan and enjoy going native with the food which is great. However, after a trek across Japan behind me and having checked... More

Stopped in for a beer on a rainy night. Front doors open so somewhat chilly inside. Not too busy but the smell of cigarette smoke was lingering in the air even with the front doors open. (Just like an English pub)! Had a snack which was reasonably priced. Enjoyed the speciality beer and the old English pub ambiance.

If you happen to be in Narita this is a great meeting place, it's the nearest thing to an English pub that you will find in the village. It's a large establishment serving a fine selection of beer, food, tv entertainment and pool tables. It has a relaxed atmosphere and I'd feel as comfortable going in on my own as... More

Spent four days in Narita and visited Barge Inn a couple of times. Overall a friendly, fun Western Style Pub. On the last day I had their Barge Inn burger which has to be one of the best burgers I ever had....

Staff are welcoming with a smile. The Barge Inn has a western pub menu with plenty to chose from. You order at the counter and your meal is brought to you. I'm my stop overs through Narita I have enjoyed everything from the home made beef pie, the burger, steak and whole chicken. All great comfort food for a weary... More

I lived in Narita for 6 years and the Barge Inn was my local pub. I was there in August again and felt like I had never left. Great food at a great price, good choice of beers and wines at a affordable price. Staff are awesome. Will be back again
