Ate at Shuri Soba after visiting Shuri castle. The woman in charge was super friendly and spoke a little English. No English menu but there are some pictures and only a few choices so not a problem ordering. We had the soba, a rice bowl and a plate of stewed meat, tofu and veggies. All delicious at a reasonable price.

It's a bit of a walk from Shuri Castle and a bit of a wait. To each his own, but we didn't think it was as great as it was touted.

Awesome broth, firm nooldes and delicious pork! Very different from the mainland type, Shuri Soba offers a staple of Okinawan cuisine that you'll not forget. Rich taste, but light on the stomach and the wallet this is a great spot to try one of the islands most famous meals. Only a few minutes from Shuri Castle it's a perfect break... More

This popular soba restaurant is located a few minutes from Shuri Station on the way to the castle. The interior is nice, and the food is great. The staff were kind as well. They add some sliced ginger on top which you may or may not like. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Most delicious bowl of Okinawan soba you'll eat. You get a choice of small (¥400); medium (¥500); or large (¥600 - pictured). A few other items too, but the soba is the highlight. Perfect after visiting the nearby castle, but note they're only open from 11:30 - 2. This place is legit. Highly recommended.

I found this restaurant in 2002 before it was remodeled and found the soba to be excellent. I have been here many times throughout the years and find that the soba remains excellent and the restaurant has kept up with the times by remodeling it and making it a first class soba stop. I am picky when it comes to... More

My wife and I ate lunch here before heading to the Shuri Castle. The place looks unassuming from outside, in fact it took us a minute to realize it was the right place, but the inside looks awesome and the food is great. The noodles are really tasty and the pork is perfect. Great place to try Okinawan noodles!

Typical Okinawa noodles worth to taste. Personal think okinawa noodle is just not very impressive, the soup is like the soybean sauce and noodles are too soft, but the meat covered on the bowl is fantastic!
