Few years ago, it is the undisputed king of chicken slice hor fun. Now their standard has somewhat dropped. Best is Pulau Srmbilan restaurant or the former Tasrk Cement CEO stalls in canning garden or small genting.

The hor fun was really delicious. However, it was really crowded and we had to wait for quite some time before we managed to have a seat. The staff were friendly too.

Main purpose of a visit to this fabulous Kopitiam was to try their Kai See Hor Fun. Never had this before but was told it's a must try in Ipoh. Silky rice noodles cooked in a lovely prawn and chicken broth with sides of Ipoh bean sprouts, gizzard and a steamed drumstick. Absolutely delicious!! Also ordered the Chee Cheong fun... More

Left Mont Kiara KL at 8am. Reached for brunch. Glad local friends recommended this place. Don't expect 5 star service as it's a laid back coffee shop house. Nice people, smiles and helpful though we didn't understand each other as some don't speak English. Wanton Mee from the other shop delivered into the restaurant, nice cross collaboration between shops. The... More

I am still lost with all the local food names then I ask for the staff recommendation. The lady who attended me recommended a chicken and prawn noodles. It was very nice. For dessert, I tried the egg custard, which was well recommended. I enjoyed all that I had and the food had a very fair price.

Must-Try location in Ipoh at the end of Concubine Lane. Closed Thursdays. Good Satay, noodles, bean sprouts, flan. Hard to get a seat during busy hours.

Super long wait time for a bowl of boiled chicken 'Hor Fun'. Many people ended with other dishes while waiting such as 'Satay', pudding, drinks, etc. We managed to find seats after 5-10 minutes upon arriving the place. We were told this place is famous for the boiled chicken 'Hor Fun', but we found it so so maybe our expectation... More

Great place to try famous Ipoh hawker food. The Ipoh Hor Fun is delicious. The pork satay is good, the creme caramel is good. Try the spring rolls from the stall next door. This is a very busy place and expect to wait for a seat.

First of all it's busy and hot, and your sat in the alley, you will need mozzie spray, BUT, I still love the place, the hor fun, bean sprouts, chee cheong fun are all solid, as is the egg custard. But while the satay is fairly ordinary, you should try the pig liver satay, its cooked to perfection. Sit there,... More

Waited for one hour , long queue due to CNY tourist tons of Ah Tiong (PRC) and locals coming back for the new year season. All the other stalls benefited from the long wait from the chicken kuai diao,果條 stall , the other food stall food are just so-so but good business cause people are all hungry and need food... More
