On our 1st day in Ipoh, which is on a Saturday the shop is closed. We decided to check out again next morning but was disappointed when the stall is close again. An Indian man who is standing outside the shop said that they are on holiday and will reopen on Tuesday. We arrived about 12.30pm and the queue was... More

The nasi vanggey ('Come Here' in Tamil language comes with chicken, eggs and a grabful of veggie which is mostly cucumber. I had this for the first time and my comments are: 1. I've had better nasi kandar than this and I think it's over-hyped....perhaps by Ipoh standard its the best. However I must agree that... More

A must haves whenever I travel to Ipoh. Their fried chicken is juicy and appetizing. What I like most about this place is I enjoyed the 1Malaysia environment where the Nasi Kandar is run by Indian Muslims, the beverages and dessert is handle by the Chinese and the Malays are the ones ordering and busy eating. Harmonious! just like how... More

i have been to this place just once, very unfortunate. it was introduced by a friend who lives in Ipoh. what are they known for, their nasi kandar. what's so different... apparently they cook the rice with a whole chicken so u can image the oil oosing out from the chicken infused in the rice with its aroma. its nothing...
