The choice of food is huge. My stomach wasn't big enough to try everything I wanted (and I wanted to try almost everything).

There are so many beautifully locations in George Town, and Red Garden is one of them - but the Price level, for Both Food and Bewerage is unrealistic High.

Arriving in Georgetown, receiving our little foodie maps with all of the delicious images of what we could fill our stomachs with, we were just so overwhelmed with choice. Where do we eat first? The best thing about Red Garden, is that you can try pretty much 75% of the food Malaysia is famous for in one sitting, from lots... More

This is a great place to take a group or family as you find a table then go to the many food choices, pick a dish and tell them your table number and they bring the food to you and pay then. We loved kimpo duck stall, fantastic! We tried a mixed entrée from the famous spring roll stall and... More

Remember in Penang u need to have parking coupons we were offered one by a stranger, how very nice. The food in the place is more expensive than normal, say chicken rice normally is $5 whilst it's $7.50 here. The offset is that everything that a tourist wants to try is here and service is efficient we will go back... More

Lots of choices. Overall overpriced but the setting was very lively and nice with live music. Had satays which were ok.

Red Garden food court just opposite Cititel Hotel or a short walking distance from Malaya Hotel served a variety of food from local Chinese, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, & Western. Beverages a plenty of selection. The area operates only at night with live music & singers....a sight to behold. The prices are more expensive than most other food courts which... More

You get a table with a number in the middle of the court and then walk around all the foodstalls to see what you wanna order. You order, mention your table number and they will bring the food to your table. When it is delivered you pay. Very cool concept that I wish they had more back home. There is... More

I've been here few years ago and I remember I was really impressed. This time I think that food quality is a bit lower and I think there must be places with a bit better food. Don't get me wrong.. it's still a must see/eat, but once is enough to experience it.
