This a probably there most obvious competitive restaurants we've been. This restaurant "Raju" have been operated for about 40 years they said. Now there is a recently open 1 month old brand new restaurant next to this restaurant and they call them self "Raj's" ;) they are also selling the sample food "authentic Indian banana leaf curry" so the waiters... Really hoped for a great Indian meal but not to be here. Very average curries, lasi drinks unusually bland. Staff seemed very preoccupied with other concerns. Won't try again.

Was brought here for an afternoon snack on a Sunday. A clean, breezy restaurant with a lot of staff. We opted for the Dosa and roti canai, both of which failed to impress. The 3 big pots of communal curry sauces were passed from table to table, touched by different hands. That made me very afraid. I was very reluctant... More

The curries and fried items does not have the authenticity of indian cooking. Dont waste your time. The shop is spacious but food tasteless.

Had lunch at the new Raju's restaurant in Section 5, Petaling Jaya. Food was below average. Overpriced.

This is not a fancy place but the roti canai offered here is one of the most delicious and fluffliest roti canai I have ever tasted! It is worth a detour to come here to sample the roti canai and the fried squid (cooked to perfection, not rubbery or chewy). Their famous ginger tea is also very yummy. You would... More

The food is nice and satisfying. The thosai and roti canai are the usual food that I ordered; the chutney is nice and the teh tarik is nice too. If you happen to drop by on a weekend or holiday morning, be prepared to line up under the hot sun as there are so many people eating at Raju's. Really... More

I always come here for its roti canai. One of the best in town. The sotong goreng with onions is delicious. I will always order another separate plate of onions just to satisfy the little onions paired with sotong.
