Just returned from a visit of NZ, it was a pleasant surprise to be able to enjoy the local version of Pavlova. Would have completed the NZ experience in Msia with lamington cake. The place to have a quiet and tasty meal with friends, family or even a special couple occasion. Do not miss the special home-made ginger and lemongrass... More

A nice, simple and comfortable place to have a nice meal as well as to meet up and catch up with friends. A varied choice of food is available. Service was pleasant and food was good. Probably will visit again to try the other choices of food available.

Yesterday was my first visit to this outlet. Since we reached during the hours between lunch and dinner, we were the only customers there. The ambiance was good, the light was low and a bit on the romantic side if that's what you're into. I liked that it gave off a calming vibe, perfect for casual social sessions. This is... More

Nestled in the bustling area of Damansara Uptown, it is extremely difficult to get a parking space here during the day. Nonetheless, everytime I come to Fat Spoon, I don't leave disappointed, only with a hole in my pocket. I like their chicken rice which comes with soul-warming ABC soup and their "lou shi fun" as well. Very quaint place... More

Try their Ulam Spaghettini, something different with ordinary western spaghetti. Not a bad choice. But the portion is too small with the price.

We rejected the otah-otah because it was served lukewarm and when they returned it to us, they had simply microwaved it to warm it up! We also rejected the assam fish head curry because the fish was too fishy. The pot of pandan and lemongrass tea was served warm not hot, and the moo moo rice was not steaming hot.... More

Due to heavy traffic heading towards this area, I arrived a bit later than my friends. Although only one other table was occupied, no waiter handed me an extra menu, and I had to wave to one of the waiters at the counter to hand me one. Hmm... what service... Although it can be described as quaint, the cafe's settings... More

Little quaint place for local cuisine in a comfortable setting. Food is simple yet with a twist, making it interesting and fun. The menu is a real treat to browse at, my favorite is still their sambal fried rice!

A cosy diner tucked away in a busy neighbourhood that serves a variety of local dishes of the Malay and Chinese variety. I liked the concept of using old Peter and Jane books as menus as it invokes a sense of nostalgia (kind of gives away my age). Food quality wise, nothing to shout about yet nothing to complain about... More

Overall, the food is just average... Which I can get it cheaper from places like Mamak stalls or Malay rice stalls. It feels as though the extra dollars are for the ambience. The food is not expensive, it is couple of dollars more than places with no air-conditioning. Just that there is no point for me to revisit if their... More
