Not too big, not too small. Friendly wait staff that provided attentive service. I had a tagine and it was really good (and after 3 weeks or so in Morocco I had quite a few tagines!). The WiFi was very good and reliable. Always a nice thing to find in Morocco.

I expected a lot and was disappointed with the quality of food. The atmosphere was lovely to be sure, and the desserts were great. But my tagine was dry and the couscous unimpressive.

We first attempted to come for lunch, but it was closing for Dhuhr. We came again for lunch another day, this time earlier at around 12ish, and had a great, authentic Moroccan experience. They have set menus, where you get a starter of either salad or harira soup, then a main course specific to the set menu, and then a... More

I have been to Laayoune a few times over the years I have been visiting Essaouira. It was recommended by Moroccan friends and whilst not the cheapest in town it still represents good value for money. It has a relaxing environment for groups or for a woman by herself. It can as everyone says get packed out in high season.... More

Laayoune restaurant was recommend to us by our hotel for good Moroccan style dining at a good price , and after eating here for 5 nights ,all food we tried was very tasty and well presented. we had the set menu at a cost of 10 euro per person for a three course meal, bread dips and olives are brought... It's a great pity really as this place looks lovely from the outside. Unfortunately, the food didn't match. The tagine and the veg couscous was bland. May have been an off night I suppose. It was cheap but even a meal for double the price is cheap here.

During our stay we visited this place twice for dinner. We were recommended it from a travel guide and it did not disappoint. It is small and quaint. It is down a small street off the main square and it looks very inviting from the outside with Moroccan style sitting and tables. Very romantic. The food was alright, not amazing,... More

Looked for a place away from the heat and buzz of the medina, after shopping.....found this quiet restaurant, with lovely interior, open to the street. Table d'hote was excellent value 88 Dirham for 3 courses. Soup was delicious, as was the tomato salad. Tagine were freshly cooked and generous. Dessert was fresh oranges or the amazing Moroccan baked vanilla yoghurt... More

We had a very nice meal here tonight. My wife had the set menu (96 Mad) which is great value. We both had the Moroccan soup to start with which was very good. We had a beef and veg tagine and a couscous mixed meat dish. Both were lovely. The bread and dips that are provided were excellent. This was... More

This small restaurant was just right for when you want good food at a reasonable price without a lot of fuss. They have 4 fixed menu meals for about $10 American, soup or salad, various sorts of tagines (meat, fish, veggie) and dessert. I enjoyed my fish couscous and my husband had a fried fish plate. Attentive multilingual staff. You... More
