We visited Pic Nic several times during the nineties. It was often crowded with UN staff, NGOs and politicians. Reservation was necessary. This time we were the only guest on a Sunday evening. Somewhat scaring. However the food and service is still outstanding! We had...More

I've been to many restaurants in Mozambique from the north to the south, this is the best one in my experience! There is nothing for "outside view" but inside is really nice with warm and luxurious atmosphere. It's a little bit small but i just...More

I have never eaten such magnificent prawns as the ones served in the Pic Nic. 3 prawns was the serving but only 2 could fit on a plate at one time. Once you finished one the waiter would come and remove the shell and bring...More

Had a business lunch at Pic-NIc. Great Portuguese steak and good variety on the menu. Service is good. Decor maybe a bit old and could be do with a make over. Still a nice venue to do lunch.

After almost forgetting about Pic-Nic I ended up there by accident again. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. A bit of an old-school ambience, but always a good option for a dinner with friends. Well priced.

Tucked away among the desolate buildings is pic nic a great restaurant with kind staff. The food is delicious although the atmosphere could use some quiet jazz music.

The pic-nic is one of the longest open restaurants in Beira! It's tucked away and a little dated, but the food is excellent, as is the service!!

One of the oldest restaurants in Beira that seems to have been going forever. Food quality is above average but as with all things in Beira, service could be improved. Decor is beginning to show it's age but it is still one of the better...More

This is to my knowledge one of the oldest restaurants in Beira and it has managed to keep a good standard on its food and service. I really liked their grilled "Lulas" with garlic butter. In spite of being old it manages to keep the...More
