I have had pasta here a year ago, which tasted great. This time round, my Dad & I decided to try the seafood platter - we were so disappointed. All components of the dish (fish, calamari, etc.) were deep fried in the same batter with no difference in flavour. The dish needed a sauce, seasoning and different spicing of the... More

And every time! We go often and it is just divine sitting on the gras (we never sit inside, don't like it), relaxing outside, having space around ... kids playing, people chatting. Service friendly and Sylvio (Italian Owner) is always around helping, training his staff on the job. Food is excellent, every time! That is impressive.

This Lighthouse has command of the skyline in Swakopmund. The Lighthouse is red and white. It is across from the main city.

We enjoyed the evening but we probably wouldn't hurry back. Maybe we were unlucky with the small room we ended up in but I think they are all like that. It lacked much of an atmosphere. The food was good but not great. The service wasn't bad but I think there are better places to eat in in Swakopmund.

Apparently it is essential to book here ...I have no idea why. The service was poor and the two local fish dishes we ordered tasted of nothing, no flavour whatsoever. Needless to say we did not leave a tip and were rewarded with a glare and the bill slammed down on the table !

I love this restaurant. Best Italian food I had in Namibia. The atmosphere is also great. If you have special requests the owner will gladly try to make it for you. Keep it up

Located in the old lighthouse, this is a wonderful spot in Swakopmund. Italian cuisine With an African touch as not all ingredients can be obtained in Namibia, and that sometimes takes a bit of improvising. Special treat was the Namibian wine.

The restaurant and its menu seem authentically Italian, and it's a quaint but charming atmosphere, though we did not actually sit in or atop the lighthouse like I had imagined. It was surprisingly difficult accessing this restaurant in our car, perhaps because of the direction we were coming from, and the strange way the roads change and converge around the... More
