Me and my girlfriend went there looking for wifi and good food. Landed at the right place. We had to wait hours for our bus there and we ate really good.

After spending 3 days in Puno, my boyfriend and I were overjoyed to find this little cafe nestled in a sidestreet along the main tourist strip. We had explored much of Puno but had not found the cute kind of cafe we were looking for - where you can just sit down and relax in peace. But finding Cafe Buho was a dream come true, a beautifully decorated, peaceful little paradise in the middle of bustling and sometimes overwhelming Puno. The couple that owns the restaurant are very nice and wonderful to talk with. And the coffee might be the best cup we’ve had in all of Peru! Cheers!

The decorations and details is beautiful but the food is terrible! And personally I rather have an ugly but delicious restaurant.
How can someone make a bad pasta....well they did, the worst pasta I’ve ever had!
Dull hot chocolate, which was a real deception since they sell food chocolate everywhere!
Just avoid it!

After arriving late on the train from Cusco and negotiating from the railway station to the hotel, we spent sometime wandering through the pedestrian mall looking for where to eat. We always have a policy to zip up a side street to find somewhere less touristy and more local. We found Café Buho and ventured in. We found it to be pretty cute and cosy although we found the menu a little limiting and disappointing. We didn't find either the food or the service very good and we would suggest you try other places.

I had what was called a "pizza" on the menu. But really it was just a pile of vegetables on a crust. It wasn't quite what I would think of as a pizza, but maybe that's the Canadian in me speaking. It's not what *I* am used to. Peas and green beans on a veggie pizza don't make sense to me.
But this is not a complaint. Because honestly, I would order it again. It was REALLY good!
My partner had what was a simple ham and cheese sandwich and he loved it!

Spent a couple of hours here this afternoon - lovely staff, excellent coffee, hot chocolate and cake. Great wifi also! Would definitely recommend.

I went here with my family based on positive reviews and hope that teens would like Pizza/Pasta options. The atmostphere and service are nice but we had pizza, lasagna, and pasta and no one liked their food.

This was our first meal in Peru. This cafe has a nice appeal from the street frontage. The food was great. Staff incredibly friendly especially Caty. Very reasonably priced.

Cafe Buho looked inviting from the street and it was a nice cozy place. We enjoyed our pizza and the German waffle was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a small cafe just a little off Lima St. Its nicely decorated with a lot of greenery at the entrance and a small back patio. Sadly, by the evening the patio does get a little chilly, but I believe they do have space heaters. Food is decent. I had a veg lasagna and a Nutella crepe. They do have a good selection of vegetarian options

Very nice place just of the main street, food was good, big portions for decent prices. They have something for everybody. We got some nice advice for the staff and felt really at home. They even put a heater in the room to get warm and dry our clothes! Highly recommendable!!

We have been in Puno for four days..we ate at many of the restaurants along Lima St. We discovered Cafe Buho on our last day and ended up eating both lunch and dinner there. The food was delicious, large portions and the service was fantastic. There is a quaint outdoor covered patio in the back of the cafe. This jem is half a block off Lima Street.

We loved Restaurant Buho for the atmosphere, the staff, and the food! It was affordable and easy to share, they let us stay for several hours using their WiFi as we waited out the rain, their bathrooms were spotless and they even brought out a little heater by our table when we came back wet from the rain. We also enjoyed their music choice :)
