Dinner at Chaya's is hard to beat. It's a residential house along legarda street converted to a restaurant and home. Very good comfort food starting with pickled vegetables, and I ordered tempura sushi and gyudon. Very satisfied with our meal, bit pricey but good value for the delicious meal.

The food is very good but a bit pricey. It's a small residential house converted into a restaurant. Parking space is very limited and the location is quite hard to find. Though they serve good food the place has a lot of mosquitos huge mosquitos!

Me and my wife went here for her birthday week celebration and we had the Katsudon rice toppings, kani salad, green tea ice cream and their lemon grass tea. everything that was served met our expectations and we specially loved their green tea ice cream. We heard that this is normally crowded but when we went there at around 11ish... More

Well, with so many good reviews and so many people telling me its the best sushi place in town, it would have to be better than the other places I have been. Ordered tuna roll, that was disappointing because the size of the roll is half the size of a regular roll, and its more expensive than the rest here.... More

This place is one of the best restaurants in the city! It's owned and run by a nice Japanese lady, and has a great, authentic menu. The restaurant is nice and cozy, and they also serve tiny servings of complimentary appetizers and dessert. The sashimi is fresh and affordable. The chawan mushi is amazing. The grilled fish of the day... More

Owners are friendly. Good food, medyo pricey but worth it. But when we were seated outside, had to ask for the bill three times. So minus 1 for the staff there. Green tea ice cream is good too btw.

Great choice of food. Japanese and many I didn't know. I had a generous sashimi laid on top of rice. P350 for a big portion served with soja sauce, little ginger and wasabi. Staff was attentive and efficient but not overwhelming. I'll certainly go back.

To satisfy your Japanese food cravings during your stay in the City of Pines, Chaya must be the 1st restaurant you have to visit! They have a homy design and friendly staff. They also give free taste of their matcha ice cream, which is one of a kind! All food they serve are sumptuously perfect 😊

Everything on the menu exceeded our expectations. Should book ahead since the place usually crowded. Parking is a challenge though
