Whether the reason for my visit is an end of project group celebration, a stress eating outlet or Friday lunch or dinner cheat day, Nanbantei of Tokyo is definite on top of my choices. Butabara + tebasaki = : ) Nuff said

We've been seeing this resto for the longest time since the theater chain nxt to it is our favorite place ro watch movies. Since, again, my partner is opted to try new restos. We mustered ourselves to try it even at times we see the place packed. Luckily, we were able to secure a table. Ordering their famouse kushiyakis, all... More

As the title implies, dining in this resto is worth the wait. I mean, literally worth the wait cos we waited outiside to dine and have some yakitori. Lol. Little serving but service is commendable. The staff were very attentive. Had the miso shiru soup, ebi kushi yaki (shrimps), leba maki(chicken liver wrapped in bacon), and crispy salmon maki (tha... More

Avoid going during weekday lunch time! I came here at exactly 12nn on a wednesday lunch. They offer lunch set meal (rice, miso soup, 2pcs maki, 2pcs shrimp tempura and 3 sticks of yakitori) for 350pesos each. First thing I notice is they don't give the lunch set menu when they hand out the menus to you. I had to... More

Quick attentive service, we had a lot of yakitori and it was just right, not too salty. The tea was freeflowing. Very good!

Delivery of food was piece meal as we've already finished one dish while waiting for the other dishes. Just like any after work resto. Noisy and Mid Range. Me and my wife ordered the Teishoko Meal set which was commensurate to the cost of P350. We additionally included the Tori Kawa Kaarage. The chicken filets were little and tasted normal.... More

Japanese Christmas dinners are the annual thing I celebrate with my friends. Little did I know that there's a one bombshell restaurant here in Greenbelt! Nanbantei is the place to be! Umu Japanese Restaurant (Dusit Thani Manila) and Nihonbashitei are some of my top picks when it comes to Japanese restaurants, and now Nanbantei is added to the list. The... More

For at least 500 per person, your tummy is already fully satisfied. I highly commend their great customer service. They are happily rendering all the requests. I love how tasty the BBQs are. The interiors is also so nice.

Nanbantei is a relatively small Japanese restaurant but their food made a big impression on me. Me and my friends ordered California Maki, Spicy Tuna Maki, and Beef Yakiniku. At that time, I wasn’t a big fan of makis yet. But Nanbantei converted me. The California had a balanced taste of all of its ingredients that made it so delicious.... More
