Food is divine. Steak was wonderful (order it at least medium rare, for the love of manon). Do not expect large servings for the price. You can cross-order burgers from Burger Chef next door, which I also did (they have the same owner, I was...More

Mrs Gruntfuddock and i were desperate for some decent food in Davao, as unfortunately ( maybe due to to much american influence) the food here is disgusting. So, we were over the moon with Bon Appetite when we visited. Eve, the host was a would...More

After a quick search for places nearby and open on Sundays we decided to give bon appetit a try. The owner walked us through his menu with great passion. We planned to have a light lunch but ended up staying for hours, enjoying superb wines,...More

We went to Bon Appetit on a warm Wednesday night. The taxi driver didn't know the place and we had to guide him using google maps. It is a small place with some tables outside - one of which we chose . The place was...More

What can I possibly add that hasn't already been said numerous times? Not too much really. I reviewed this again because it really is and deserves to be the number one restaurant in Davao. Yves and his lovely bride work very hard to make sure...More

Nice food, good choice, friendly owners, original menu. It is nice to find a place like this. Nice smiles and reasonable prices. Certainly one of the reasons to visit Davao!

I thought the apple tart was overpriced when I saw the menu. But boy, it was really worth it! Friends whom I treated out for coffee, tea and dessert pledged to go back for their anniversary. Reservation is needed, though, as people queue up for...More

You are still a problem-your a piece of garbage that abuses the Filipino employees! A guy can make it in his own country so goes to Philippines in order to feel superior to others! No problem with your food it's you! I would like to say I have misread you it's not-I am not a Filipino but I'll tell you any Filipino that supports you is not a friend to his culture! Stop abusing all your employees your not superior!

Hey Yves, no connection to anyone except the Philippine culture itself having lived there off and on for close to 3o years-we are the same age. I wrote the comment to make you aware of your continued need to respect your employees. I get things don't always work out the way you want, that you likely feel pressure trying to keep two very successful restaurants running and that you take pride in your accomplishments. However, just pointing out that your not in France (although they wouldn't tolerate those behavioral tendencies also-go to Paris every year quite familiar with the people-I find them nice. However, regardless you are in the Philippines now and making money off the Philippine people so be aware of that. Economic power over your staff does not necessarily mean that you can't hurt their feelings or make them feel bad. I left u bait in my first post thinking you would get angry and attack me as I observed in your other responses-to your credit you didn't. I actually wish u the best-I hate iPhone's. just another fellow traveler best of luck.
