We had just been to Sugbo Mercado market and wanted to try some halo halo and found this dessert cafe. We read previously the desserts are traditionally shared between four people but there was only two of us. We ordered the chocolate cheese halo halo...(350 PHP) which was monstrous - I can see why four people share! It came served with chocolate shavings, 2 scoops of icecream, milo and cheese inside the icecream. It also came with a small container of condensed milk and it was not explained to us what to do with it, so we just poured it over the halo halo hoping that was correct. For such a large dessert which we couldn’t finish, it was actually quite light and refreshing. Still yet to try the halo halo off the street so have nothing to compare it to but so far my halo halo experience has not been disappointing.More

This facility called Sulbing Dessert Café at the ground floor of Gaisano Country Mall in Cebu City is a nice place to refresh by tasting their famous Korean-inspired Desserts. For our experience, we tried to taste the Choco Tiramisu. I just can’t express my feelings...in indulging my palate with this chocolate-based dessert. A cool place to eat.More

Their services are fast and the quality of food is really good, with more than 15 flavors to choose from, you won't be disappointed. Still, 400 is a bit too much to ask, since a lot of ice cream parlors like the ice giants have...even more selection and come in at a less invasive price.More

I already heard good things about this Korean dessert place but I had to try it to believe it. As a halo-halo afficionado, this was a visit I was excited about. At the store's entrance is a life-size display of some of the dessert items...they offer with their respective prices. This is very friendly and informative to anyone planning to eat there. You'd know ahead what to expect visually and financially. prior to entering. (Saves you embarrassment, in case you find it too pricey.) My order took some time to be served as there was large group who came in before me. (the place was packed when we got there. It seems to be a favorite among the locals.) When my halo-halo order arrived with its accompanying bowl of condensed milk, it didn't disappoint. The halo-halo was large and covered with yummy ingredients: crunchy cereal, sweet red beans, whole almond nuts, ice cream with caramel drizzled over it. The bowl was NOT mix-friendly. The bowl itself was already filled with finely shaved ice. All the other ingredients that were piled high on top of it could easily fill another bowl. I had to eat all the ingredients first before I got to the ice part. Too bad that I was already very full by the time I reached the shaved ice portion. I could no longer savor the melted mixture of ice+melted ice cream... my most favorite part in eating ice cream. Anyway, I now know what strategy to adapt when eating their halo-halo the next time I visit.More

People who are into Korean desserts or desserts in general would enjoy this place. And if you haven't tried Korea's bingsu, then this is a good place to start.

I ate here at the Gaisano Country Mall 1st, then after a while, tried their other branch at IT Park. The one in Gaisano Country Mall seems to have better flavors. Choices are a lot, although its mostly very finely shaved ice. Toppings preference is...subjective, so it is nice that we were a group of 4 wherein we ordered several different kinds and tasted from each other's orders. The one thing that IT park has an advantage over this one is that they have a lot of board games and toys that allow you to enjoy together with your shaved ice. However, when it comes to taste, Gaisano branch is better.More

Their Korean dessert is quite good. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but it's not overwhelmingly sweet which is great. It has a good ambiance and their dessert is good for sharing for 2-3 people.

If you are craving for sweet dessert give this place a try. There are times when this gets very busy and hard to find a seat. The order is large and can be shared by three persons and besides, it is so sweet especially if...you add the condensed milk that comes along with the order that eating one whole bowl would be catastrophic to diabetics, so sharing is a must. This is the korean version of halo halo.More

Every once in a while we try to explore the food of different cultures and countries here in Cebu. This brought us to Sulbing Dessert Cafe which is located in Gaisano Country Mall. Sulbing is actually one of the first to offer Korean Shave Ice...Dessert. Though the price is a bit high, each serving is good for 2 to 3 persons. Sulbing is a nice alternative for those who are craving for sweets after dinner.More

It is usually a busy night when I visited Sulbing at Gaisano Country Mall. The tables are full most of the time. Some would have to wait a few minutes to get a seat in this small dessert cafe. It has a happy vibe, sometimes...loud, people around are smiling, laughing, taking pictures of their dessert before delving their spoons into the ice shavings. I tried 6 of their desserts: Affogato, Oreo, Mango Cheese, Blueberry, Injeolmi and Berry yogurt. My favorite is the Injeolmi, no wonder it's the Bestseller. I like it coz it's the most unique of them all. But the rest are equally delicious... Be prepared to shed off Php200 to Php400++ for a serving of Sulbing (good for 2 persons). I would surely recommend Sulbing to those who wanna try some unique desserts especially on a hot weather.More
