up side great food, good service and nice ambience .... :) value for money resto their place at SM seaside brings back nice memories of my childhood days, with the ancient and classic furnishings, it reminds me of my old Colon St. days way back in the late 70s. down side need to improve their serving time though we understand... Being at STK (the new wing opposite the old one) is like being transported to old times. The ambiance is warm and cozy. Lots of great old pieces on display. The food is great. It won't disappoint. They have still retained their original flavors years ago. Price is fair. A surely full and satisfied tummy is always an after effect.

Eat here if you have patient to wait for the food for 1 hour, they served the food in installment. So when your order already complete either you lost your appetite or your done eating.

I read a lot about this restaurant o I thought I give it s try. Right outside on the street there is their BBQ pit which is nice to see what's grilling. Went inside I had s table on the very back. Waitress took 10-15 to acknowledge. After taking the order took another 10 minutes to bring the drinks and... More

Food here was great! Though service was quite slow but still it was compensated with the great tasting food that we ordered most especially the scallops and grilled tuna. Oh so yummy!

I am sorry to report that this lovely decorated and well managed restaurant is lacking a key feature: a good cook. The sweet € sour fish was uneatable (too much vinegar, too little fish), the crabs in curry held only 2 spoonfull of crabmeat and you had to look hard for the curry sauce. The scalops were pasted with sweet... More

I had high hopes tonight. The place looks interesting - an old house on a quiet street, food grilling outside on the street, an excellent welcome ...........& then it all went wrong. The food was nothing special. The rice was cold so I sent it back, the Hot & Spicy Calamares were more like goujons - neither hot nor very... More

Especially their baked scallops! So yummy. And very very affordable! Love their filipino inspired look of the restaurant, so home feels. Everything about their dish is perfect!

Whenever I'm in Cebu craving for Filipino food or if friends ask for recommendations, I always think of STK Ta Bai as the first option. I tried different dishes and could not decide my favorite. Most of their dishes may lean more on the sweet side, like other Filipino restaurants, but it's not too overpowering. The grilled tuna panga was... More

First of all, it's hard NOT to remember the rather longish name. STK stands for the local dialect's term for grilled, sour soup, and pickled, a description of the type of food one can order in the restaurant. The ambience of this seafood house is unique. It's actually an old house with 1930s-1960s memorabilias and antiques. Their POS is even this old cash register. Their phones are the old ones with dials. Then the food. They serve authentic grilled Filipino dishes like the jaws of the tuna fish ("panga" in the local dialect) and innovative creations like curried crabs. Finally, the bill...US$7/head and you head out with a doggy bag! Good ambience, excellent food, and great value for money.
