Our family found all the food that we ordered as tasty and delicious They come in small, medium, and large servings. They take reservations and even accept food order instructions over the phone so that it is ready when you get there.Food is a little...pricey but i think it was worth it.t The place is best for family gatherings since one table would fit 12-18 depending on the table size. Service is good. Parking is not so big in the front but they have another parking area behind tthe gasoline station beside ching palace.More

A goo place to eat traditional Chinese Food. Authentic taste, just don't expect fine dining service. Lots of really good dishes though.

We've come here about once a month for 7 years. Good food but service is disorganized and uncaring. I so wish they had delivery. Oh, and brace yourself for kids running around with their yayas running after them and the waitstaff thinking it's cute.

We arrived here at 8.30 p.m. (10 p.m. closing time) and were seated straight away and given menus. Someone came up 30 seconds later to take our order and I asked for another 2 minutes as we had barely had a chance to look at...the menu. The staff then ignored us and after 10 minutes of trying to get their attention we decided to get up and leave. I specially said “excuse me” to a waiter as he walked by me and he looked at me and ignored me. We wasted money on a 15 minute taxi getting here. Don’t waste your time or money.More

We go to the Ching Palace 5 or 6 times a year, sometimes just my wife and I and other times with family and friends. We like it here because the food is very good, good service and reasonably priced. The seating area is big...so you never feel squashed in and they have good air con too. I probably should find a few new places to eat but why take the risk when this place meets all our expectations. The only little niggle I have is that the tables can be a bit wobbly but that's probably a pretty easy fix.More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cebu. Have never had a bad meal or bad dish. The sweet and sour pork is to die for, and the lemon chicken great is as well. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

They used to have sumptuous Chinese food selections but my last visit on my cousin's birthday, they forgot to update to us that they were not able to order and serve lechon on that day (We pre ordered that lechon weeks before). They replaced it...with Lechon Kawali though but its not at par with the Lechon itself. They scrimp on ingredients saying that they "replaced the spinach with romaine lettuce because the spinach was expensive." What????More

Whenever we have Chinese guests, we take them here. Whenever we want fancy Chinese, we come here. On this occassion, it was my mum''s 70th birthday. The Ching Palace offers authentic Chinese food. Price point is competetive but slightly on the pricey side depending on...which items and size you order. But overall, pricing is fair for the quality of food. We ordered enough dishes for it to be a decent lauriat ofcourse! Chopsuey Soup Assorted Cold Cuts Sizzling Szechaun Chicken Lumpia Spring Rolls Steamed Garoupa Suahe Shrimps in XO Beef and Broccoli Eight Treasures Chicken Asaparagus in XO Cha Misua - Stir Fried Misua Ching Fried Rice Ice Cream We especially liked the Eight Treasures Chicken. It is a whole chicken stuffed with glutinous rice and Chinese herbs and mushrooms and chestnuts. You will have to pre order this special delicacy. The steamed garoupa and the Suahe Shrimp in XO are also family favorites. Anything steamed takes at least 20 mins so pre order. The fish was fresh, it was alive so how fresh could it get? These are also premium items so be ready to shell out a little more. Taste is perfect. Like I said, you can bring a real Chinese here and be assured he will feel right at home. More on the savory side minus the lingering nagging msg after taste. I always think associating Chinese food to MSG is being ignorant and unfair. I believe these people only tried the cheap fastfoods. We mixed in the Szechuan Chicken and Lumpia Spring Rolls for variety. By the way, they use chopped meat for their Lumpia and not the suspicious ground meat. There are also a number of sauces to cut thru the taste. Hoisin, chili and garlic, and ginger. We had generous hot tea thru out the meal. Hey, we are Chinese after all. The meal closed with their soft serves ice cream. I do wish theyd expand to serving more flavor varieties. Service was okay. Elias was great from reaervation to welcoming me himself. Orders came at a reasonable amount of time and the staff was always on the ready if you needed anything. Parking a limited. Theyve made efforts to renovate thru the years. No matter what others observe it is still a homey Chinese restaurant for me complete with ladies in Chi Pao abd the aquariums reminiscent of my childhood visits to similar restos.More
