Dropped in to the St. Petersburgh when we had some free time in the city. Nice little courtyard area which was ideal. I ordered a selection of drinks including Russian Vodka Russian Champagne and a Russian beer. I was relly rather suprised at both the good quality and reasonable price considering this restaurant / bars location by the Church of... More

We went to the new Sylvia"s Resturant in St. Pete tonight. After we were seated, it took over an hour to get our food, and the fried chicken dinner was a joke. For $11.99, you get 1 piece of dried out fried chicken, and the mashed potatoes tasted like cardboard, dry also. The bat tender waited on us, as we... More

Plan your visit to line up with the nightly show, traditional Russian dancing on stage (all ages appropriate). Food is fine as are the wine and drinks. It is located right by the Church of the Spilt Blood which is impressive at night. Typically have gone with a group. Try to get a seat where all can see the show,... More

This restaurant is something else. First of all the view from this top floor restaurant on the St.Isaacs cathedral is stunning, while the large bay windows give the most wonderful view on the entire city. The restaurant itself is very spacy and modern, but it is also very comfortable with just the right lighting and music levels. A perfect balance... More

In old Russian and Soviet times the place would not considered to be a restaurant without live music. That's why it was so difficult to get a table there - it was always only one seating and people would spend all night dining, drinking, dancing. These days restaurant scene is much different, but in "St. Petersburg" you still can get... More

First of all, when you read the reviews on tripadvisor, you can see that some of them refer to the city, and some to the restaurant entitled St. Petersburg, which is located on the canal near the Church of the Spilled Blood, and close to the Russian Museum. The food was very good, and rather pricey but about the same... More

one of the most beautiful places in Europe, bulking of history and culture. An absolute 5-star "must go" while travelling around Europe, you won't regret it

This is the definition of a tourist trap: although the food was not as bas as we feared, and service was okay, the show was pretty awful... Not really authentically Russian, more of a "cheap amusement-park" version for unsuspecting foreign tourists! Music was all pre-recorded instruments and a couple of mediocre singers; the dancing choreography was straight from a bad... More

We arrived in St. Petersburg on a small cruise ship and were located right in town. We took a tour from I Love SPB which I found on Tripadvisor. We were able to see and experience far more than our fellow cruise passengers who took the short tours from the ship as our guide whisked our 6 person group all... More

Hmmm i like almost every thing except that i would really appreciate if its more tourist friendly in terms of language and directional signs but this gets compensated by the friendly and helpful people, amazing people Russians are :)
