We enjoyed an excellent Japanese and French fusion tasting menu of local meat and fish cooked with passion. The beef was excellent and the pumpkin rich cream soup was exceptional.

I decided last minute to take my son here for lunch last weekend. It was packed! But a lovely fellow expat let us share his terrace table. I had a wonderful, simple yet tasty chicken lunch and my son had pizza. They have delicious desert too - we sampled the creme brûlée and the canelle w/ice cream. Our seat-mate and... More

Excellent if you want an authentic Parisian experience in Kobe. The proprietor is French and along with his perfect and polite French he is fluent in English as well as Japanese. It is a French gastronomic oasis in Kobe.

The place is well located half way up to Kitano with a great terrace that allows you to feel Parisian: sipping a glass of wine will watching people passing by. The boss and crew are very nice and you will spend a nice time there .

The terrasse there is priceless. There is no other place around Kobe where you can just sit back and enjoy a drink in the sun while watching life go by in this charming neighborhood of Kitano. I got the warmest welcome from a lovely staff, and a delicious steak lunch for a surprisingly reasonable price (a whole lunch set for... More

Yes, it's a nice little restaurant that is feeling a little dated but you will find a warm welcome here as long as the resident French manager is in! It's in the heart if the tourist area where things tend to be more highly priced but I'll put it as better than average because of that. I'm a Kobe insider... More

It is not the first time to come to Bistro Café De Paris、in fact I came here every once in a while since it really reminds me of the times I was living in Paris, quite an authentic place. The asthenosphere is quite authentic, the terrace adds a lot to the charm and make is more Parisian type of places,... More

I am a foreign resident of Japan, originally from the UK and in Japan for close to 15 years. I really enjoy "tastes of home", particularly European and western food and this is one of the best possible examples, right on my doorstep in the Kitano area of Kobe. It ticks all the boxes. Outside seating, the right music, staff... More
