Great location on the walking trail towards the outer temples. Enjoyed a lunch here; the food was simple but good. Staff was nothing but kind.

Stopped by this place after Gio-Ji on the way to the Bamboo grove. Very authentic with great hospitality. However no one spoke English and the menu only featured Japanese and pictures. However, every dish had a picture so you could still order easily.
