Definitely the best meal we had in Japan and it’s probably the best meal we have had in all our travels. The presentation was amazing and the food, sashimi, sea urchin, abalone, fire fly squid, octopus, scallops, shrimp just to name a few were delicious...More

It did not taste good. I have had much better kaiseki in Kyoto for much cheaper. The only ok dish was the beef. The sashimi was nothing special. Everything else was not good. Very confused by the good reviews this place is getting.

What a pleasure. Lovely restaurant, friendly service and outstanding food. It's also in one of the prettiest parts of Gion. The presentation of each dish was exquisite. Quite possibly our best meal in Japan. Thanks

One of the most gorgeous and refined meals I have ever had. Everything was perfect, including the service. Well worth the price tag. Go here for something special, you will not regret it.

This might have been the most stand out meal of our trip and for the relative price, it is by far the best dollar for dollar dining experience we had. You enter a below-grade sushi counter off the beautiful, cobble-stoned streets and are immediately greeted...More
