Oh wow! We just loved Omen, Kodaiji. The presentation was amazing and the taste so so delicious. We opted for the tempura dipping noodles and my husband had the grilled chicken on the side. Everything was so full of taste. The staff were friendly and...More

Really tasty meal and also veggie friendly. There is also a vegan soup instead of meat based soup which was great for my girlfriend. Presentation of the meal was very pretty and everything tasted great.

Myodai Omen Kodaji is located nearby Kiyomizu Dera temple. They serve mainly udon type of noodles, we tried their famous Omen Noodles that comes with a few condiments that we should mix into the soup before the noodle and then eating them together - it...More

The interior is very modern yet traditional! We had the omen noodle, which was freshly made in house. And there were many side dishes that were all tasty. The matcha tofu was soooo good. It was like matcha cheesecake made with almond milk!

I do not know how to start this comment. After a perfect day in the downtown, we went to dinner at this restaurant. It was a perfect gastronomic experience. We paid 35euros for a menu of taste that is worth trying. I recommend it 100%.

Superb and delicate noodles. Recommend to also try the aged tofu as side dish - first bite might be hard but will be addicted.

Checked out this place after reading about it in our Kyoto guidebook and it more than exceeded our expectations! The service was incredibly friendly and the food was heavenly; there's something really satisfying about being able to prepare your own soup base for the noodles...More
