About 1/2 an hour away from the bustle of the city, the restaurant was recommended by a Malaysian friend. He even ordered our food! There was a combination of crab, grouper with bean sauce, fried calamari, fish with okra with tomato sauce and two types of shrimp dishes. We opted to sit outside, as in doors was rather cold with... I came here last year for dinner with my colleagues, and this time around I went here for business lunch. Kindly take note this is a restaurant that is non air condition, so I was sweating while having my lunch! Service and food delivery was prompt and fast, but i will say it is a typical chinese style restaurant, which... More

Prompt service, decent food at reasonable prices. A simple no frills seafood place suitable for informal dining. Ample parking in front of the restaurant.

I went out for dinner last week and our Malaysian friends chose Lala Chong in Ara Damansara. It is quite a distance to travel and costs around RM25 in a taxi from Bangsar but the food was spectacular. Fresh seafood at really good prices. We had a clam soup (specialty of the house), venison, several prawn dishes, fried cuttlefish and... More

Don't understand all the rave reviews about this place. We had cravings for seafood and decided to head to this place after contemplating on a few around PJ. I thought the food was pretty pricey considering we spent RM140 for 2 persons! We ordered Crabs, Salted Egg Squid, Vege and Fried Rice. As crabs are supposedly one of the main... More

My second visit to this restaurant. First was 2 yrs ago on previous trip. This restaurant has good parking space and lots of seating. If air con is prefered, booking must be made before hand. This has got to be the best seafood restaurant outside of Klang. Also great value because table for 7 cost around $300RM. We had crabs... More

Went there with friends and family. Its a big restaurant. With lots of places to park. We ordered their signature lala dish...paku pakis I think, a soup and a few other things. Everything was nice. Service was good. Staff were attentive. The place can get extremely full on weekends. We went there twice on saturdays and both times we couldnt... More

Generous portion of food but taste is just average. Pricing is on the low side as well. Nothing to shout about even for their signature lala (mussels) dish.
