In search for a late lunch joint along Sgt. Esguerra in Quezon City, we decided to try out steak for a change, and since Melo's is quite famous, we tried the joint. The ambiance inside the place was very impressive... cool, serene, relaxing... perfect for a date, a romantic meal, a business meeting. It was as if you entered a... More

Melo's is the hands-down THE place for steaks. Albeit, on the pricey side, the quality is worth it. If you want your steak medium rare, it WILL come out medium rare. :)

Ordered the steak with foie gras and was so thoroughly disappointed with the steak quality. The meat was not edible and could have easily bounced back when thrown to the wall with all the tough ligaments in it. AWFUL! Would not patronize this restaurant ever again. Expensive and so not worth it.

I recently had lunch at Melo's Sgt Esguerra St. with my sister dining on a steak w/ foigras set meal & the steak was absolutely terrible. I couldn't tell if I was chewing tasteless rubber or biting on the toughest steak imaginable. I have dined previously and it was not this horrible. We were given complementary dessert but even that... More

Heard about this place from friends. Their steaks are really good. Its tender and not dried up when compared to other restaurants. They offer a 'steak tray' for those who really want to choose their steaks. The service people does their job well. The place is good for celebrating special occasions. Their prices though are a bit steep.

Pros: Highly competent valet staff. Fairly good ambiance. Delicious soup and complimentary bread. Cons: Angus steak cooked in seasoning (Maggi, Knorr, etc.) is unacceptable. Serving it with gravy is obviously the last nail in the coffin. Wait staff insisting that their pasta and salad serving is good for 1 is unprofessional. It's big (and extremely pricey) by local standard and... More

steak was undercooked. we ordered tomahawk medium and the steak arrived rare. very rare. even the thinner steaks like the aged steak was undercooked. I expected much more from melo's being a longtime steak restaurant. don't be fooled by the 50% off from metrobank platinum. no discount from other restaurants is still better. discounted price here per head is around... I first went here to celebrate the birthday of my brother. I had a simple Angus tenderloin as I wanted to first test out the place. They brought around a "meat cart" where in they bring the meat to you, cut it and weigh it in front of you. Its a nice gesture letting you see and choose the cuts.... More

Went to Melo's with my family for a Father's day dinner. The steaks they serve were very good. One of the best tasting steak I have eaten in Quezon City. The dessert was also good. Just be prepared to pay a lot since the food is very expensive but if it is an occasion a family is celebrating, it is... More

We went to Melo's for a birthday dinner and ordered wagyu ribeye steak. They brought the slab to our table in a table trolley and asked us how thick we want our steak; we got varying thickness. It went with a choice of soup, mashed potato, and a choice of sidings. It took a while, but the wagyu didn't disappoint.... More
