Jd's is really a bar that gets very crowded and busy on the weekend. During the week its not as hectic. The food is typical bar food like wings, sandwiches etc. But it's good. If you want a bar scene then this might be the hangout for you.

Good food. Has local pub feeling, friendly atmosphere, loads of tvs for sports or music videos. Love the shrimp tacos and the French dip.

This place takes their food and service very seriously. The food is so good relative to the other two sports bars within walking distance: Rudys and Rookies. There are plenty of TVs along with their good food to catch games. But probably greatest thing about this place, is that it is open till 2 AM every night. In a bedroom... More

Best potatoes au gratin I've ever had! Well presented in cast iron dish. Perfect cheese running all over. Definitely get the correctly-cooked bacon crumbles to put on top. The Greek salad "side" was as big as some regular Greek salads I've ordered elsewhere. Good selection of NC beers. The wine selection were good wines I knew and like, not just... More

I've been here a few times, all of which were enjoyable. Usually we go for a drink, but we also like the food a lot! You can bring your dogs leashed on the patio too! Good food, great atmosphere

We've been twice this spring and since the weather was nice we sat outside on the patio (aka smokers' lounge). The last time we went there were people smoking cigars behind us, cigarettes to the side of us, all while a 5 year old girl coughed non-stop in front of us. To make it even better, people continuously come outside... More

This place is lively late at night. We went at 11 PM on a Saturday night and it was crowded and noisy. Large screens cover all the walls for those wanting to get their sports fix. We had the crispy wings and a craft beer. The food is tasty, the service is wonderful. Our server was friendly and prompt. There... More

Honestly. I like the food here. Good appetizers and salads. But not a big fan of the obnoxious bartender. Makes it so I don't want to go. Younger crowd. Gets loud late. So if that's your thing....
