Food was good. Decent price. Chips and salsa free. Salsa had a nice fresh flavor. Myself and another had tacos ( chicken & pork) while the third person had a burrito. The burrito was huge everything was good. Definitely didn't leave hungry.

I have eaten both lunch and dinner countless times in this family owned restaurant and have always had great food. Add the excellent service provided, this is a 'go too' for me. In fact after moving away from the area for 6 years I returned and on my first visit the staff remembered me and was very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Love it all from the tacos to the chips. Great enchiladas and cold beer. Love the Mexican beers on tap. Try both the salsas they are very good and they sell them to go.

I can tell we'll never be back to Taqueria Alonzo, I don't know what happened the night we were there, but my husband and I both ordered dishes with beef in them. The beef had definitely been cooking too long, it was burned; they should have never served that beef. I don't know why restaurants do that, serve things that... More

No need to look elsewhere, Taqueria Alonzo is the best! Located on the main floor of Two Rivers Market, there is always plenty of parking with the lot within yards of the entrance. The restaurant is always clean, and you can enjoy sitting in a booth or table. The wait staff are the best! Always smiling, quick to bring your... More

They have the best and biggest burritos in town. They are fresh and very tasty. Great customer service and a well established restaurant.

Taqueria Alonzo has always been our go to place for Mexican food in Albany. But in this last visit I was so disappointed. To start when our waitress brought us our chips and salsa it was like the bottom of the bag chips. All broken up in small pieces. I ordered the enchilada plate with shredded beef. I got ground... Taqueria Alonzo is one of those family-owned and run Mexico restaurants that every community needs. Fairly large menu, consistently well prepared dishes, quick service, able to accommodate groups of 10 or more (by pulling small tables together), and a pleasant atmosphere. The only reason I didn't give them five "stars" is that the menu is pretty standard fare. But good... More

Albany is DEAD on a Monday night. We had about 3 places we were trying to go to for dinner. None of them were open. The Irish pub had poor reviews so we skipped that and found this tiny Mexican spot. It's tough to find but you need to walk inside a building to get to it. I got a... More

We have been coming to this restaurant for 8 years now and have never been disappointed. Whether we bring guests or come alone - lunch or dinner - always good food and great service.
