It wasn't as good as last time we were here. I had the hot pot and ordered a side of noodles, as it comes with no rice or any starch. It was tasty but way too tart or limey broth. The soup was good and came with four large prawns but it was mostly thin broth with a few veggies... More

Came here before going to a show. The food was amazing. The service was wonderful. I highly recommend having dinner here if you are in Ashland.

We ate in about 5 places while in Ashland for a few days and this was by far my favourite! I got Cashew Chicken (I think it was called) and it was so delicious!! I would travel up to Ashland just to eat at this place. There was just one thing I was disappointed in, it seemed a bit pricey... More

Great spot, casual ambiance, great location across from Lithia Park. Every time I am in town my family and I have to stop. Raina the manager has always been a great asset to our visit as well. I have tried almost every dish...and my Father swears by the hamburger and sweet potatoes fries. I love the Dragon noodles and Phoa...Mom... More

I have a weakness for sesame seeds, sesame oil ... do I need to go on? I love fresh salads. That's the only thing I've tried here. I enjoyed the seared ahi tuna salad very much. My friend ordered the crab cake as a topping on her salad. Unfortunately, she was disappointed because the crust on the deep-fried crab cake... More

We were out late looking for dinner in Ashland and stumbled upon Sesame. I think it's fairly new. The staff was super nice and had good recommendations. I love lettuce wraps...theirs were good but the portion of chicken to all of the other fixings was small. We had several appetizers and then split a stone bowl with steak...again, a bit... More

We took my daughter there after a SOU college visit. We sampled the duck dumplins, lobster spring roll, lettuce wraps, potstickers and fried rice...delicious! We could have used a warning about how spicy some of the ingredients for the rice were, but other than that the staff were very accommodating. Located just steps from Lithia Park's entrance, so parking the... More

Let's be honest, Ashland is not the place for world class food; for that, drive 6 hours south to San Fransisco, or drive six hours north for second best Portland. And the few good places are only open for dinner. Given that, when in need of a lunch this place used to serve. It has now gone from mediocre to... More

We ate at sesame and normally we enjoy Thai food. We were not very happy with the food. All the dishes tasted the same, should have known by the lack of patrons dining there. The service was good and we did not venture the dessert menu.

I ate here with my monthly book group. We had 12 members and the staff set us up in a sunny, upper area on the main floor. I love the decor: bright, cherry, bamboo, high ceiling with splashes of Orange and white. It was great for a COLD, icy day In January. I ordered a wide rice noodle/shrimp dish. I... More
