Loved this place but a bit expensive. Unique appetizer. Sardines in a red sauce. However only two of us ate them so not most popular thing on menu. Been awhile so forget other dishes but all were great.

Excellent Steak and the oysters were also very good. Make sure you get the Zucchini Fingers for an appetizer.

We had a fabulous dinner at Omar's. The New York steak was wonderful and filet tips special was also delicious. The service was great and the price was reasonable. When I wanted to substitute a side dish the waitress was extremely gracious and complied with my request. We will return the next time we are in the area.

Omars is supposedly noted for it's steak dinners. I should have listened. Ordered fish and none of us could eat it. The atmosphere is very dark and old fashioned. Not a real cheery place.

It has been far too long. Two couples...great martini in the bar followed by Zulu fingers, salad, and dinner. Steak for me, watermelon salad and Mac/cheese for my wife, fish for friends. We all raved. I had escargot which was delicious. Waitress was super, snappy, and a little sassy...fun. This is a historic 'standby' for southern Oregon folks...a well deserved... More

I last ate at Omar's over 30 years ago and, other than being well maintained (including spotlessly clean), it hasn't changed at all in appearance. This is an enjoyable 1950s version of a bar-and-grill; nothing special as a facility (no view, closed-in room, kitchen in the back, etc.) other than just being a classic from that era. The large salad... More

The approach outside doesn't offer much. It appears like it may have once been a ranch home converted into a business. It's away from downtown. The parking is tight. You might think, "Do we really want to eat here?" You do. After years of putting of off (because my wife is a vegetarian who sometimes eats fish), my birthday arrived... More

My husband and I went to Omar's to celebrate our anniversary. We hadn't been there in at least twenty years, but will definitely be going back. The food was exceptionally tasty, prices reasonable, and the service top-notch. It's great to see a place that's been around a long time still have high standards.

Thank Lynne B
