Comfortable relaxed atmosphere, friendly help and good food. Had cheesesteaks, burger, fries and the onion (which is better than onion rings). So far we are 4 for 4 with a great experience. Also nice to see regular customers recognized by the staff.

Like all the reviews under this restaurant, if your looking for modern, fancy, or chic you will not find it here. If they fixed it up you would pay 10$ for that same cheese steak. Come here if you want a clean place that serves many sandwiches , burgers, and cheese steaks. Very fair prices, look you won't believe. Great... More

We stopped for a quick bite for lunch. The place looks like it is leftover from the 80's. The cheesesteak were ok but not high quality. The prices were low and the service was friendly and fast.

We stopped in for a quick bite. The place was packed and we had a 20 minute wait. Once seated we noticed the waiting line had increased in length. Food was good and reasonably priced. Not gormet but hearty fare. Great place to take a family. Apparently they are known for their steak sandwiches. Decor is old and needs updating... More

We stopped here for lunch. I asked for a special sandwich with sautéed onions and hot peppers and both were left off. One of my dining partners requested extra sauce put on the sandwich, which didn't happen. The other dining partner enjoyed his sandwich which was a cheesesteak. They are known for their cheese steaks and breakfasts. We will go... More

Local watering hole for Seniors! Near an interstate exit and got good reviews so we gave it a try. Service was good. Crab cakes were OK. My partner got buffalo chicken tenders which were dry, and very hot. OK food, but not worth going out of your way for.

Absolutely love this old time Allentown landmark. If you like trendy, modern decor, don't come. If you like trendy, social butterflies, don't come. If you like fancy, trendy dishes, don't come. Do come if you appreciate nostalgia, comfort food at cheap prices and friendly old timers with great stories. I've never been a fan of Brass Rail's beef cheesesteaks. But... More

Went here on a Saturday morning with family. It was busy but we were seated right away there were five people in our party. Our server was very friendly and came to take our drink orders and said she had to get some breakfasts that were ready to be served and she would be right back to take our orders.... More

Grew up in PA. Used to go there when their only location was 12th and Hamilton. Have not been back in years since we moved to NJ. The steak sandwiches are still great.
