Stopped for lunch after flying into Newark. Featured soup was pepper pot. My wife asked "Does your pepper pot contain tripe?" Waitress was surprised, but confirmed no tripe, beef instead. I had a Rachel. Bread/toast was very greasy. Chips served with sandwich were in a small bag. Waitress was very good at keeping our drinks filled

Well, today we stopped at the diner because we were there before and we loved it. However, today, was not a good experience. Don't know if management changed hands but..... I ordered a cup of homemade chili and my hubby ordered a turkey club. The female server was "new" (she told us she just started yesterday). When my hubby asked... More

Visiting family in Allentown and they wanted to go here but didn't want to go because I had been there before and didn't like it. But. I didn't want to be disagreeable. Again bad breakfast. Chipped beef gravy over homefries and it had no taste!WON'T BE GOING BACK!The third time WON'T BE THE CHARM!

The food was very good and the service was excellent. I just had a Turkey Club Sandwich, but it was very good with chips, pickles and cold slaw.

Diners are relics of a bygone era. This one is a classic! A menu with a hundred plus choices, big portions, home cooking, fresh ingredients, and solid service.

When in the area for a medical appointment we have sometimes stop into Trivet. We have not been here for about a year. I have always enjoyed the food and prices. Today, unfortunately was a different story. I had taken my mom to a doctors appt in the area and visited here after at around 11:30am. Upon arriving, I noticed... More

The Trivet Diner is a great place to eat any time of the day or night. It is located close to The Allenwood Motel which is a great old Mom and Pop motel. The Allenwood Motel is dog friendly. The Allenwood Motel has a very large area for the dogs to run and play in.

We stopped in for lunch -- a bit busy, but fast and attentive service. The menu can be daunting - almost too many choices, but the three of us were happy with ours. Hamburger (huge!) The only downside for me was that an omelet did not come with hashbrowns or fries, that was a $2.00 extra (booooo). It's a bit... More

Stopped at this attractive diner near Allentown, PA mid-afternoon. Diner was busy but not crowded at this time of day. My wife and I were seated promptly. Surprisingly the dining room was not too hot or cold which is frequently the case. We ordered off the senior menu which was varied and a good value. The rest of menu is... More

We stopped in at the Trivet when visiting some friends who live in the area. There were lots of menu choices and it was possible to mix and match items to create whatever breakfast you wanted. Typical diner food and service. I would go back again if in the area.
