Being Italian I seldom find Pizza that measures up to home made like my grandma use to make.. Until now! Last week while visiting Altoona my friend took me to lunch at Mama Randazzo's. It's location is off the main stream of the city so I never tried it. Not only was the service good and fast, the Pizza was... More

Most of the food at this restaurant is good. The waitresses don't check on the tables enough especially for refills. I've ordered delivery and they don't supply condiments. The owner has been out talking to customers in the restaurant and has never approached us to talk and we are regular customers. Its good to acknowledge all customers and get their... More

Mama Randazzos has been on our to do list for a while. A pleasant little hole in the wall type of restaurant in the Juniata section of Altoona, it came recommended by coworkers. First, the good, the meatballs large, tender, and very good. The sauce was homemade, good but not what I would call unique or particularly memorable. The pasta... More

We brought our team here for a pre-game dinner. The staff was great, they focused on the needs of the guys, we're prompt with taking our orders, staying on top of drinks, and getting our food to us in a timely manner. They were very friendly as well, taking care of any problems as they arose. I had the meatball... More

Wonderful restaurant - casual but delicious food and lots of leftovers. We had a party of 17 and they had no problem accomodating us on graduation weekend!

Stop in during lunch hour to grab a bite to eat. Had 6 inch chicken parm sub, and it was a very good sandwich. Service was friendly and everything was served in a timely manner. My partner had an egg plant parm and that was also a very good sandwich. Both sandwiches were on homemade rolls, which were very good... More

This my go to place when the I need spaghetti and meatballs. I usually get this attack at least once a month. The house dressing which is made there is the best. And I cannot even go over all the other things on the menu that are so wonderful. This is near the local college campus so this is a... More

I enjoy eating here at least three/four times a month. The pizza is as good as it gets and all of the Italian dishes and sauce are terrific. I just had pizza there this afternoon with a friend who agreed: the pizza is great. My favorite entree is the Lobster Ravioli. Try it. You'll love it. Also, the sandwiches, Stromboli... More

Love Mama's sometimes difficult to get seating but that's just because of how popular the place is. Try the homemade dressing and Chicken Parm.
