This used to be my go to Chinese place, but they have been getting worse. The chicken started to taste like it was fake, and the rice was beginning to get dry. Not horrible but definitely better places to go.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered a chicken dish and the quality of the chicken meat was disgusting and very bad. Got so frustrated that I want to write a review about them in google and yelp. EDIT: I got super sick after leaving this review, and I'm 99% sure it was food poisoning. Will not be returning.
Disrespectful & ungrateful managers,Tried to give them yet another shot, but they are still really, really RUDE!!! And totally lack customer service skills all around! Their food is extremely subpar, the egg rolls tasted like they had been fried, then thrown aside for 6 or so hours, and then refried in really dirty oil. So gross. The chicken with broccoli was... This is a secret little spot, but the sushi is to die for. There is always something new, it's BYO, a little pricey but worth it. I'll never go anywhere else for sushi
I read reviews that this place replaced the chef and assumed my favorite General Tsos would still be just as good. It wasn't. I didn't recognize the front desk help and wonder if they changed owners. From 2004-2013 they had the best General Tsos in the world. The recipe was excellent and it was always very crispy. Now it's not... More
What do you do when one person wants Chinese, the other Thai, the third Sushi, and the fourth Tempura? Come to East Cuisine, of course. They have a nice well-rounded menu, and whether one is vegetarian or a meat eater, they are sure to find something! The bowl of fried wonton they give at the outset is definitely a notch... More
I go here all the time. The menu is huge there is something you can find for any Asian inspired taste whether it's sushi, noodles, won ton soup etc. The sushi is incredible and it's also a BYO. Great hidden date spot-hope it doesn't get too popular after this!
What happened to this place??? I've been coming to East for about 5 years. Really solid good chinese food with flavor. White meat chicken. Garlicy sauces. Whole chile peppers in entrees. One of the best hot and sour soup recipes I've had in the city. Then a few months ago they changed chefs and now the food is utter tasteless... More
This is an all-around good Chinese restaurant. They also have Japanese food, but I always go for the Chinese. It has a nice atmosphere, good service and (most importantly) good food. I enjoy the pickled cabbage they serve to start. The wonton soup is good. Some of the entrees are large enough to share, or at least have some to... More
The soothing sounds of water and the lovely background music made for a calming lunch. I appreciated that with all lunch options one could choose white, brown or fried rice. I never had lemongrass chicken before, but I found it just the right amount of spice. There were a variety of vegetables included with this dish and they were very... More
