They have a huge selection of beers that are offered (most are roughly $3-4 for each bottle/can). You can just select one and take it to the bartender who will open it and pour it for you and you can (hopefully) take a seat somewhere. It's a very small place with not much seating, which is my only complaint. But... More

Undergoing renovation at this time but you can still go in and get something on tap or in fridge. All kinds of domestic and foreign beers. Extremely casual. You can buy a beer and drink it there or take it out. Not a lot of seating so time your visit.

I visited last week after a friend mentioned buying a beer with limited distribution there. Unfortunately, they were sold out. I did meet a friendly guy working there, Dave (not %100 sure the name is right) and he chatted with me about beer etc and made some suggestions. I left happy. Visited again yesterday and sat at the back bar.... More

tough to review this as it's not a bar, and not really a restaurant either, its mostly a retail beer distributor with a classy display case. big selection of mostly private, small label and import selections of things like IPA's, and some draft selections in the back at a mini bar area. staff are available to talk up the varieties... Some of the best hot dogs you'll ever have, accompanied by a constantly rotating selection of eight beers on tap and hundreds by the bottle. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Atmosphere can be a bit sterile - it is first and foremost a store after all - but nice and relaxed; a place I feel comfortable bringing my young daughter into... More

As it says on the sign this is really a beer shop or as they say a beer shoppe. I suppose it qualifies as an eatery because you can eat some nice salty meats and small sandwiches at the counter in the rear. Staff is very knowledgeable and obviously has a passion for beer. A small variety of DeBruno cold... More

For those who enjoy craft beer; talking about it, looking through shelf after shelf of it, and drinking it in the company of others, the onset of bottle shops was a great thing. The Beer Shoppe wonderfully fills the role of local bottle shop. They keep up a great selection, both of beers that are always reliably available and new... More

And great place. I go three times a week and not only can you find whatever you want you ACTUALLY find people who care to help. I have two service businesses and the people at Bee Shoppe could come work for me ANY day! Great people with a great attitude. Sometimes I come and end up getting called from my... More

This "restaurant" and beer distributor is unique for the Commonwealth of PA and its antediluvian beer laws. While many other states allow its citizens to buy beer at supermarkets and other similar places, in PA one must either buy by the case at a "beer distributor" or by the 6 pack paying retail bar prices. The Beer Shoppe has found... More
