one of a chain. Had a breakfast burrito - sausage and egg, Big and very tasty. Service was good and friendly. Only problem I have is knowing when they are open.

Excellent local place. My favorite is the Carne Molida (Ground beef and potato) but so far I have yet to get something I was disappointed with. Home made tortillas and delicious hot sauce. I cant go to this part of town without stopping for a burrito.

Oak street location stinks! Argue with you over their mistakes! We ordered food for our whole staff at 11:30, came back to eat as a group, and the order was completly wrong--what food they did give us was bad! Tough beans, hard tortillas, it is now 2:00 and the owner promises to bring food to our work but we have... More

I know there are lots of choices these days for breakfast burritos - from national chain fast food restaurants to local taquerias - but none can compare to Hernandez Bakery on Butternut. We started the tradition of stopping on our way to church about 6 or more years ago, and not a Sunday goes by without our making a stop.... More

Employees are rude. Food taste old. When they mess up on the burritos they argue with you. I know what I ordered if you can't hear it's time to get hearing ads.

Tacos were so full I couldn't help spilling some of the contents while eating one. Pastries are exellent too. I was in here in the morning and the place was packed. There was a guitarist walking around playing for everyone.

Best chorizo and egg burritos in Abilene. Also best hot sauce in town and if you eat-in they put a big bottle of it on the table. Great service, family owned.

I think they have the very best burritos in town, La popular and Hernandez are really good also, i personally think these are the best. The carne guisada with frijoles queso are wonderful. I used to eat here every morning for breakfast when i lived in abilene. I still go there every chance I get when im in Abilene.

Their burritos have meat, or whatever burritos you order. You get your moneys worth. Carnegie guisada is a little dry.
