Dimly lit and comfortable seating invites you in. However, the menu is a three on the taste meter and definitely not shining. The menu seems pretty typical of bar fare, although the evening prices reflect some wonderful adventure. But no, it will be very typical. I enjoy the atmosphere so much. I wish the food matched. The service has always... More

I came here on a very special type of diet (the ketogenic diet) and the staff was very willing to help to prepare a specific salad with the gradients my diet allowed. The owner even came over and said hello to me and made me feel very welcome. I got the impression that all of the staff were very attentive... More

Very nice restored building near middle of city. Had a great meal and service from Jennifer. Decided to have another beer in bar, met owner Terry O'Connor and wife. Very friendly and had nice conversation about restaurant and city. He ended giving me a beer and logo glass, since he was getting out of brewery part of buisness.

The couple that owns this restaurant have done an excellent job of providing a good menu with well-trained staff. Amanda, the owner, is everywhere, making sure her guests are well taken care of. We had the sweet chili calamari which was excellent and a pizza which was also delicious. Both were well cooked and portions were perfect. A great place... More

Had an excellent lunch with family. Great service. Our waitress, even though she was new, did an excellent job. If we asked a question she didn't know the answer to, she was quick to get us a correct answer. Very helpful. The food and service were GREAT!! I will definitely be coming back!!!!!

We stopped in for snacks and drinks. Firstly, we got a waiter who was brand new. We ordered drinks- he had no idea what some were or if they had the stuff to make the drinks- someone should have shadowed this poor young man. It wasn't his fault, it was his lack of proper training before he was cut loose.... More

From the lunch special to a quant dinner for two. This an excellent choice for any budget. They even brew their own beers right there in the restaurant.

While in downtown Abilene, Cypress Street is the perfect lunch or dinner restaurant. The Wasabi Mushroom Burger with a cold Cucumber/Avacado/Lime soup was the best combination on a hot West Texas summer afternoon. The service was excellent coupled with the ambience of the historic building made for a relaxing lunch! I'll be back!
