I agree with other reviewers, this place seems a bit run down inside. We were escorted to our table right by the very hot tortilla machine. I didn't care for the salsa nor my entree. It's a good thing there are plenty of other GREAT Tex-Mex restaurants in the DFW area because Blue Goose was one and done for me.

Stopped in for afternoon appetizer, pleasantly surprised. Got the Top shelf queso with my chips and salsa, and a local Franconia draft the waiter offered. The queso was quite delicious and also a large serving to go with the chips and salsa. Chips were really tasty and warm, like the salsa, too. Very surprised with the local brew, too. Never... More

This place was full on a Friday evening. The service was good as well as the chips and salsa. They had some happy hour specials on draft beer. Food is good, not anything special or to write home to mamasita about.

I met with friends from high school (getting close to a half century). Got there and could not find a place to park. I thought "this is really busy for early afternoon on a Saturday." I came back around the block and found a space and pulled in. I went in and found our group. We visited for a while... More

We were driving down Midway in an attempt to find a place to eat for lunch. The Londoner Pub jumped out at us and so we stopped in. After making the waitress aware of our arrival and location on the patio, we were never waited on by anyone. We noticed the Blue Goose Cantina across the way and walked over.... More

Their tortilla chips are really good - not thin and not too thick. Their salsa has the perfect amount of cilantro and isn't sweet. I had the Blue Goose Cantina Taco Salad with ground beef - it was good! And their sopapillas are GREAT! The environment is fun, too. Be sure to post a picture with #bluegoosecantina for a free...
