Nice little restaurant with many locals. Food was inexpensive, fast, tasty and (served with an icecold beer) exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Vegetarian options available.

Good clue: this place is always crowded, and if you don't like to eat a bit early, you'll probably end up waiting a while for one their few tables. It's pretty standard fare, but well done. The guacamole was hand made from real avocados, not something puréed out of a jar. The SW quesadilla had a nice blend of flavor,... More

This small, very non-descript restaraunt - which didn't even have a sign out front - was a great find (thanks to the hotel staff and google maps!). Good food, very reasonable prices and decent service. As others have mentioned it is cash only but not a problem. We split the Mexican platter (three burritos, two tacos, rice and beans served... I had the beef fajita plate and my partner had the southwest chicken quesadilla. I am an overweight and jovial philanthropist and businessman and have eaten throughout the United States and I must honestly say that this is the best Mexican food I have ever had! The flavors were wonderful and the quantities were generous. This restaurant Breaks the Rules... More

We loved the guacamole, enchiladas, everything. Great dinner. Fast and friendly service despite being overwhelmed by a large group arriving when we did.

They were quick to serve, food was good. It is a very popular place. Cash only. Clean but not elegant.

Definitely average Mexican food, but with not many options in Alpine it's probably one of the better choices. We were able to get meals we all wanted (with picky kiddos too), and the chips and salsa were good.

Queso is always good, but on a recent trip we stumbled across La Casita's house Queso. Oh my word! Cheese, beef, salsa and quacamole all together in utter deliciousness. A few days later I ordered more to go for a superbowl snack. It was just as amazing and a great portion. They are cash only and can get quite busy,... More
