If you want a great Ribeye steak and friendly and fast service this is the best place in Amarillo, TX to go. They also have ice cold beer.

We stopped in Amarillo to spend the night on our way to the Grand Canyon. This steak house was close by and decided to give it a try! We ordered the smoked sirloin and it was wonderful!!! Everything we ordered was great! I had a baked sweet potato and it was cooked to perfection. If we ever pass this way... More

Just one sentence. Diane said her steak salad "was the best restaurant salad she had had in several road trips." My chicken fried steak that Gus brought was also tasty.

Huge portions! I had a chicken fried steak with a poblano rellano on top. It was pretty good, a little too much breading for my taste and a little too well done. My husband had the prime rib and he liked it. He ordered it med rare it came out med well. They like to over cook food here. Someone... More

This was recommended by hotel staff. The big cowboy steak place in a tourist place. this is just across the street and down. We had fried pickles as a side order, great. When the steaks came out of this world. If you are a real beef person. Try this place.

I ordered their chicken fried steak and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was great too. My husband had a steak that he really loved. Looking forward to coming here again when in the area that's for sure.

We wanted a close place to eat and this looked like the best. If it's a chain, we don't have it at home so we wanted to try it. Huge portions. My husband has the Dr Pepper ribs and loved them. Lots of interesting things on the menu. Western themed.

I guess I am not seeing the Hoffbrau Steak and Grill House the same as other people. I read that it was number five in Amarillo, and the hotel clerk recommended it very highly. So I went. I ordered a beer, then the 13 oz ribeye, accompanied by a baked potato and a salad. Dessert came later. The precursory dinner... More

We were traveling across country, got into town late, took a recommendation from the local Marriott. Delightfully surprised by the experience and food. Extremely casual. You could split most dishes, very well prepared, tasty and delicious. Delicious steaks, great sides - which we split - very tasty. We would eat here again!

Description
Hoffbrau Steaks was Voted "one of Dallas' Best Chicken Fried Steak" by D Magazine. Family owned steak house, rustic and casual with a unique Texas atmosphere bordering Fort Worth and the famous Stockyards area. We now proudly serve Premium Black Angus beef, and a wide-ranging menu of chicken, ribs, seafood, salads and burgers. We keep it Salt & Pepper Simple and make everything from scratch with love. Daily lunch specials are delicious and affordable. Large TV's are perfect for watching sports. Come sample our extensive list of local, national and international beers. We love to cater weddings, birthdays and office parties. Let us help you plan your perfect event in our "No Bull" party room. Nestled around the fireplace you'll feel warm and welcome from your first bite. Our party room can seat up to 50 but can also be perfect for 12. Happy Hour is from 4PM to 7PM on Monday through Friday.

Early to-mid 1800's German settlers, who helped develop the Hill Country of South Texas, also recreated their beloved "hoffbraus"or "beer gardens" where local townspeople, farmers and ranchers gathered to enjoy hearty meals and brewed beverages in a setting that was naturally casual yet humming with conversations and warm friendly service. What began as a "Hoffbrau" in South Texas truly was the origin of the Texas Hill Country Steakhouse... A tradition that our family has continued since opening Hoffbrau Steaks in 1978. Enjoy yourselves, our Texas hospitality... The great steaks and foods for which we are known. Many thanks, The Fogiel Family
