I guess the word is "kitche". Quirky, fun, over-the-top, nostalgic stop. Sure it is touristy, but the food is good and in a fun environment-especially if you've spent the day on the road. If you can eat the 72 oz steak you get it free.More

Family trip through town. Friendly staff, good food, country fried steak was amazing, kids food comes in a straw cowboy hat that's cool. Ask to sit downstairs or next to the railing upstairs or you miss out on the atmosphere. Cool shop attached with bar,...More

Visited in the middle of the week. Very busy. Guest from all over the world. Seems to be more of a tourist attraction than a restaurant. Both of our steaks were overcooked and had to be redone. Was given a discount though. Interesting place to...More

This place lives up to its reputation of great steaks and the western decor was fun to look at. We didn't get to watch anyone try the challenge, but the display was the size of a roast, 72 oz. plus the fixings. Our food came...More

Great time! Great food, great atmosphere would highly recommend this as a must do in Amarillo. We were able to take a limo from our hotel courtesy of the steak house and hotel so we didn't have to worry about driving
