Wanted to eat a little something different in Amarillo and looked up Mexican food and this popped right up. This place is amazing. It's a little kitchen with a big heart. I ordered a torta with red pork chili it was so good for the price. Salsa there is excellent! And I will be back as soon as I am... More

Basically one of my favorite dives! I love the small quaint atmosphere and it helps that the food is good! My favorite is the Chili Verde burritos, you can't beat a basket of chips salsa and a burrito for under $5. We often stop in here for TO and pick up 3-4 burritos then take them home split one add... My buddies and I eat here regularly when we are in town. The chili verde burrito is the bomb. One will fill up the most hearty eaters even my son can get by on one although he gets two when he's starving "he is a 6'3 and 220lb teenager". This is a spicy lunch so if your weak and don't... More

I went here Saturday afternoon around 2pm. There were three other tables in the restaurant with people at them. We order one kids meal (taco with beans and rice) and some chicken dish (grilled chicken, vegetables, beans/rice, and tortillas). We waited at least 45 minutes for our food and by the time we paid out, we had been there over... More

We have driven by this restaurant at least a hundred times over the years and never stopped in! That is really unusual for us, because we're always seeking out the good ole Ma and Pa restaurants wherever we are. Well, today we were close and decided to stop in and see how it was. What a very pleasant experience. The... More

I can tell if Mexican food is good when the pores around my nose "sweat"🔥🔥🔥 Homemade corn and flour tortillas. The chile rellano was very good. Tamale was very good. Be warned: the red chile sauce has ALOT of chili powder in it...way too much for my taste buds! The hot sauce is just that...hot...but not scalding hot. Think I'll... More

I always try to find good Mexican food in Amarillo, since there are so many tex-mex restaurants and I like this place. The tortillas are homemade and excellent. The salsa and food isn't very spicy compared to Lupitas on 10th Street, but still are good. To me is very mild. The horchata is one of my favorites in Amarillo. I... More

We ate breakfast there the other day. Their Huevos Rancheros are the best in town. The only drawback is the parking.

The seemingly divish appearing place has by far and large the BEST native mexican food we've ever tried. Delicious salsa with a nice flavor and a kick, homemade tortillas and awesome prices!

If you are looking for the real deal, Lupita's is it. Their Chili Verde is the best I've ever tasted and the homemade tortillas are out of this world. I've tried almost everything on the menu and you really can't go wrong. This is true Mexican cuisine at it's best. Enjoy!
