I'm kind of a snob when it comes to hamburgers. That's why when I find one, I'll tell you about it. Grease Monkey is a bar and burger joint. It's near the college campus (UTA) and that's kinda the feel of the place- only maybe a little more sophisticated. I can't vouch for the bar, but the food is terrific!... More

Stopped in tonight before the Sawyer Brown concert at Arlington music hall. I had the grilled chicken salad which was excellent. My wife had the plain burger that she enjoyed very much. We did have a small problem with our order that the manager noticed as I was picking it up. He personally brought us replacement onion straws; enough to... More

Everyone was friendly and courteous. The food was very good. Smoked wings very good. They have several selections of hamburgers. I tried one of the burgers. . It was good. Everyone enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was good. We watched the game and the CMA THAT NIGHT. Nice place for a gathering. Others in the group stated drinks were good.... More

These guys make a pretty darn good burger! They also have good fries. They're always hot & tasty. The Monkey offers gluten free bread that's never given my wife any problems, and the open face aspect means that you can put as many or as few fixins on your burger as you like. They have some interesting options, such as... More

Great food, cool beer and friendly people. The live entertainment is above average for this type of local hang out

Recently, ate at The Grease Monkey, really cool hip place, great retro and auto decor and the burgers are great, buns are superior, had loaded cheese fries and they were tasty. Overall really good experience. Highly recommended

We stopped at Grease Monkey after touring the Cowboy ATT Stadium. The burgers were great - you can order 1/3 or 1/2 pound with just about any combo / topping imaginable. The place is tricked out in fun auto-themed décor. The hanging menu boards are corvette hoods, the condiments are set in a tool box, etc. They have a nice... More

Great place for lunch and a good packed house just about every weekend night and on game days for the Cowboys.

Great venue. Very laid back atmosphere with basic burgers and dogs cooked your way; big or small burgers. The buffet style condiments allow you to spruce it up anyway you like. It's located near the UTA campus and AT&T stadium and draws a varied crowd, but folks are Texas friendly and respectful. There is live entertainment each week, but I... More
