Visited for breakfast with 2 friends. One had the Staple breakfast (standard egg, bacon, and toast); another friend had the Shrimp and Grits. I had the Avocado Toast with a side of pan sausage. All was very good. You order and pay at the front and servers bring the food to you. The decor of the place is neat, brick... More

During my Austin city-run-tour I was told I should really enjoy my lunch at this place (founded by Sandra Bullock). Since I am a great fan of her, of course I could not resist to visit this place. I really enjoyed the nice relaxed atmosphere, the fresh salad and original beverages at this place. Surely a must-do when you appreciate... More

Our favorite lunch stop! There is something about the ambiance of this spot that makes you want to linger. Maybe it is the flower shop in the back or the delectable case in front or the sandwiches, salads and soups that make you want to stay for a second helping. The bread in the sandwiches is the perfect texture and... More

This is a must visit if you are ever in Austin. Small but decently located. The food was amazing. I shared the French toast, shrimp po-boy sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and the staple breakfast. Again the food was amazing!!!

only tried one item on the menu and it was worth the walk. The Golden Egg is a buttery loaf of deliciousness. If i lived in Austin I would be here 4+ days a week for the Golden Egg. it is a simple dessert/treat/snack perfect anytime of the day, especially good with a cup of coffee or tea. On my... More

In several trips to Austin, I've discovered this is one of the best places to hang out with a laptop, a great cappuccino, and a very friendly atmosphere. I'm pretty careful about timing my stays so that I'm not taking up real estate that Walton's could be making money from, but I also never felt compelled to always have a... More

The best little café in Austin, very European I migh say. Meny with many choices, My favorite is for lunch is a small cup of soup (the tomato is delish) and a sandwich. Just enough food as it should be. Friendly staff, just love the place

Loved, loved Walton's Fancy and Staple. The breakfast food was SO yummy and delish. I went with 2 friends and we all ordered different items and each one enjoyed our dish thoroughly! OMGeeeez! It reminded me of walking into my grandfather's grocery store that was part groceries and part restaurant. The food was QUALITY! THE BEST ingredients and why did... More
